Young patients want the shape of lips like some actress or their idol, and older patients want lips like they had 20 years ago.

In your opinion, what properties should an ideal drug for the correction of the perioral zone have?

Ideal drug – this is probably the most important thing for lip correction, because we must make a procedure that will satisfy both the wishes of the patient and my wishes as a doctor, and this is, first of all, safety. I must be sure that the drug is of high quality, and it will not cause such complications as edema, granulomas and angioedema. Unfortunately, there are a lot of low-quality products on the market now, and we often encounter these complications, especially in secondary patients. And the patients themselves already see these complications on the Internet and other mass media, and do not want to have them. Therefore, the quality of the drug is the most important for me.

Which preparations do you prefer for the correction of the perioral zone?

Recently I have been working with Belotero

How important is it to comprehensively correct the perioral zone in older patients?

This zone must be corrected comprehensively, but, firstly, you need to find out from the patient the wrinkle that worries him the most, and follow the patient's lead.
