Practically every specialist in aesthetic medicine in his practice is faced with the need to perform a peeling on a patient. In some cases, this procedure helps to remove the stratum corneum of the skin and, thereby, refresh it, and in some – allows you to deal with pronounced imperfections and signs of aging. Very effective, but at the same time dangerous, is a deep peel with trichloroacetic acid, however, given the side effects of the procedure, doctors rarely prefer to use it.

Tell us about PRX-T33®, what is its specialty?
If we are talking about PRX-T33® – this is an amazing effect without the usual side effects that patients usually get when their skin is exposed to 33% trichloroacetic acid. In this case, thanks to the formula, there are no such side effects. The patient can lead the same active social life, and despite the severity of the procedure, after 15 minutes, after a maximum of half an hour, he can go to a meeting, a date, a theater, and so on.
What is the procedure protocol for PRX-T33®?
As for the protocol, here, of course, the doctor working with the product prescribes an individual regimen for each patient.
On average, we do 4-6 treatments with PRX-T33®, in one-week increments, and we repeat this course once a year.
It can also be a maintenance treatment once a month. If we are talking about combined methods, for example, with injectable drugs, then the procedure with the PRX-T33® preparation; must be performed immediately before injections. That is, it all depends on the indications in a particular case.
How much is the frequency of treatment with PRX-T33® in older patients?
An age patient is different for an age patient. Here I would probably say about the protocol with the dermaroller. In this case, we are not talking about 4-6 times, but we do a procedure with a dermaroller once every 3 weeks, and then we look at how the patient recovers. That is, it is a very individual drug, and in the hands of a professional it is a real lifesaver.
Using PRX-T33® in combination with a dermaroller for older patients, we apply the drug, then we apply the dermaroller, and what do we do next?
Then we wash off the drug with distilled or bottled cold water, dry the skin, then we apply betadine additionally, remove it with chlorhexidine, and then we can apply the same manufacturer's cream to the skin to soothe it.
Is there recovery after using PRX-T33® in combination with a dermaroller?
As with anything, with the dermaroller, there will be rehab, but it won't be the same as if we just did 33% trichloroacetic acid. Yes, you will feel that the skin is a little rough, let's call it that. That is, you will see a little bit of frost, but it will not be on the whole face, as you would expect if it was pure trichloroacetic acid.
After a week and a half, when the roughness of the skin goes away, it will be of a completely different quality.
On the example of a 47-year-old patient of the oriental type, I can say that her face oval tightened, her skin brightened, and, if assessed visually, pigmentation disappeared by
50%. That is, this is a different, younger and fresher face, with very little invasiveness.
