It turns out that for the sake of gaining beauty, women daily poison themselves with heavy metals. Scientists at the University of California recommend that they wear less lipstick, as they have found high levels of heavy metals such as chromium, cadmium, aluminum and lead in more than 30 popular brands of lipstick.

Specialists note that applying lipstick 2-3 times a day significantly increases the risk of developing stomach cancer, as the skin absorbs excessively large amounts of chromium. Avid lip addicts may experience other effects of slow metal poisoning, scientists say. To reduce the harm from lipstick, researchers advise less use of it.

Note that the quality standards for cosmetic products in the United States do not mention metals, while the sale of lipstick containing these substances in the European Union is strictly prohibited.
