Two American scientific universities at once announced the positive effect of spices on the human body. Scientists believe that these odorous spices can greatly affect our well-being.
So, nutritionists from the University of Colorado conducted a study on the benefits of spices and proved that adding various spices to low-calorie, but not too appetizing dishes makes them more attractive. Thanks to spices, people begin to eat what they previously thought was tasteless.
And at the University of Pennsylvania, scientists have proven that adding a certain mixture of spices to high-calorie foods can "lighten" them a little, as well as reduce the level of triglycerides and insulin in the body after eating. For example, red pepper is great for burning calories, and cinnamon normalizes glucose levels.
After research, scientists came to the conclusion that if you add various herbs and spices to food, you can help people avoid many health problems.
