EXPERT LASER MEETING 2018: conference for laser medicine specialists

On September 26-27, 2018, the 4th independent conference for laser medicine specialists EXPERT LASER MEETING was held at the Radisson Blu Hotel. 2 days of a rich scientific program brought together more than 150 participants at the conference – dermatologists, plastic surgeons, phlebologists, gynecologists, cosmetologists working with laser equipment not only in Ukraine, but also in Moldova, Belarus, Estonia, Slovenia, Italy.

What did the conference participants remember about the program?

Personal experience of practicing doctors – speakers in interesting, scientific, not burdened with unnecessary advertising reports.

LaserTestDrives, which took place in three halls for two days and where each participant could hold, test, see in operation on a real model more than 20 different types of lasers and other types of equipment, master classes from leading European experts .

A collection of all the necessary information about the equipment in a convenient format on flash drives, as well as a wonderful treat before, during breaks and after busy days of the conference.

It was about the mandatory set of tools and tools necessary for the successful implementation of laser procedures: protocols for the use of cosmeceutical and medical preparations, PRP, as well as mandatory preparation algorithms and recommendations for patients.

The section "Protocols of Laser Treatments" was devoted exclusively to personal experience with laser procedures, adherence to recommended protocols and demonstration of results.

The first day ended with the session

"Legal aspects of the introduction of medical practice", where lawyersspecializing in medical law Antonina Nizhnik and Ruslan Perfectny shared their knowledge, as well as the owner of the clinic aesthetic medicine from Estonia – Julia Kudryavtseva.

EXPERT LASER MEETING: day two

No one doubts that in order to achieve maximum results in aesthetic medicine, a combination of techniques and the involvement of specialists from parallel areas of medicine are necessary.

The nuances of combining methods were discussed at the session

"Combinations of methods for skin rejuvenation and vascular removal: personal experience", which started the second day.

The conference ended with another important topic -

"Management of complications after laser procedures". What influences the result of laser exposure, how to minimize the risk of complications and make sure that a grateful patient returns to the clinic of the word and again (after all, we are talking about aesthetic medicine) – recommendations were given by dermatologist-cometologist Tiina Orasmäe-Meder, biochemist Yulia Gagarina, Yulia Zlotnitskaya, dermatologists Natalia Gaydash, Olga Khusid, Anna Funikova, Sergey Voronovsky.
