Aesthetic medicine today – it is one of the most popular and demanded directions in modern medicine. Patients of beauty parlors and aesthetic medicine clinics turn to specialists not only to correct their appearance and rejuvenate, but also to improve their quality of life. How exactly cosmetology helps to improve the quality of a person's life - in an exclusive interview for estet-portal.com Tatyana Epifantseva, a dermatologist, cosmetologist at the ADASSA Medical Center, told.
What is the key marker of age
Of course, one of the key markers of age, indeed, can be the condition of the skin of patients. Moreover, this does not depend on age, it depends on internal factors leading to such a state, and on external aggressive factors.
For me, as for many of those present, the condition of the skin is indeed a key marker of both age and the state of internal organs and systems.
How can age-related changes in the skin affect the patient's quality of life?
First of all, when we look at a person, the first thing that catches our eye, of course, is the condition of the skin. Naturally, every woman, like a man, wants to be liked by others, therefore, the way you look, the way your skin looks, naturally, the quality of life as a whole increases.
What pathogenetic techniques in cosmetology effectively help to improve the patient's quality of life?
Based on the latest scientific discoveries in the field of the theory of aging, namely, the theory of "mistakes" associated with the accumulation of "intracellular debris", or the theory of "programmed aging" associated with shortening of telomeres, combined methods in cosmetology, including yourself both methods of so-called "negative" stimulation, and "positive" stimulation. These are various lasers, peels, other hardware techniques that remove old cells and cause predictable damage to the skin, birevitalizants and mesopreparations that provide positive stimulation and improve the structure of the skin.
It is these methods that can be effectively combined with injection techniques aimed at fast and accurate tissue repair and the birth of new cells.
These "positive" stimulation techniques include intradermal injections of "Meso-Wharton", which have a completely new skin rejuvenation mechanism of action aimed at stimulating the cells of the epidermis and dermis.
Which of the following methods do you personally use?
In our clinic, we get good predictable and long-term effects in our patients by combining the use of CO2- and IPL-laser therapy, together with Meso-Wharton preparations; and "Meso-Xanthin", depending on the clinical symptoms that we see on the skin of our patients.
