The nappage technique is divided into three types, depending on the depth of drug injection.

Technique features are as follows:

  • distance between injections – up to 1 cm.

Medium nappage – injection of the drug into the dermis

Medium nappage – this is the introduction of the drug directly into the dermis at the level of its reticular or papillary layer. The needle is inserted to a depth of no more than 1-1.5 mm, while the distance between injections is maintained within 1-2 cm. When working with the patient's face, the needle should be tilted at 45 degrees.

Injections are performed, as with superficial nappage, along massage lines,  or along the vascular pattern. The median technique is used to treat vascular pathologies, eliminate various problems with hair, small stretch marks, spots after acne, and also to smooth the relief of the dermis. However, it is worth remembering that during injections, damage to blood vessels and the appearance of minor hematomas and drops of blood at the injection sites are possible.

Deep nappage – injection of the drug into the hypodermis

Deep nappage or infiltration – this is the introduction of mesopreparations at the level of the hypodermis. This technique is relevant if the goal of therapy is to eliminate cellulite manifestations or limited fat deposits, therefore, using deep nappage, mainly lipolytic preparations are introduced into the skin. For deep insertion, a longer needle is needed – 13 mm, the level of inclination of which – 90 degrees. The depth of injections should be at least 10 mm.

Nappage technique allows you to treat a significant surface of the skin and have a pronounced effect on its condition.
