Trichological diseases in the modern world are a problem that worries many people. The health of the skin and hair, and, accordingly, the good appearance of a person speaks of the state of the whole organism. Dermatovenereologist of the highest category, President of the Society of Trichologists of Ukraine and Director of the Hair Health Center spoke about topical issues regarding trichological diseases in an exclusive interview for estet-portal.com. Popova Irina Alekseevna About what methods and approaches are used for effective treatment of trichological diseases, read right now.
What drugs are currently used to treat trichological diseases
Today, trichology is such a not very cozy daughter for dermatology, therefore, we call it clinical trichology.
Trichology is always compared to the most commercialized industry because it promotes topical products the most.
In my report, I tried to show not only external preparations, like those that we prescribe at home for the so-called home work with the client.
Basically, this is a symbiosis of the clinician's efforts for the diagnosis and correct formulation of not only a clinical diagnosis, the correct interpretation of a patient's examination, the correct analysis of clinical and laboratory data, but also for the development of a treatment protocol for very well-known and difficult to reproduce pathologies in our life. For example, diffuse hair loss, alopecia areata, which is little studied and difficult to understand, and androgen-dependent, which occupies the largest part among trichological diseases.
Therefore, the report is more about the problems that are associated with the patient's condition and their correction with the help of general therapy. Not external, as such, but general, based on the analysis of clinical data.
What pathologies does Hair Health Center deal with
At the "Hair Health Center" there are dermatologists-trichologists, as well as two therapists, a neuropathologist, child and adult psychologists. That is, the data obtained as a result of collecting an anamnesis, concretizing clinical studies and laboratory data, allow, in such a team, to create a mini-model of a consultative mini-clinic. And, in fact, we combine injection techniques such as mesotherapy, PRP therapy, carboxytherapy, ozone therapy, microcurrents, and so on with the development of new protocols and new approaches to complex therapy. And the presence of specialized specialists in the "Hair Health Center" allows us to do this.
Is an integrated approach important for the treatment of trichological diseases
Local therapy is such an unnormalized lexicon. We do not use it, like the words bald, baldness - we have a temporary loss of hair.
In fact, topical preparations can be used at home.
We do not aim to sell drugs in the "Hair Health Center" was only for external therapy. Only an integrated approach, only combined techniques, only the involvement of specialists in this field, that is, the creation of a portrait of the patient, can achieve a significant result.
