T.K. Biorevitalization ("bio" — natural, "re" — return, "vita" — life) — This is a technique for injecting active substances that compensate for their deficiency in the dermis. When it comes to biorevitalization, most often we mean preparations based on hyaluronic acid. This means that the doctor takes a syringe and quickly, painlessly heals the skin by targeted delivery of the substances it needs.
The concepts of "biorevitalization" and “biostimulation”, when it comes to injection techniques, are they the same thing?
Because No, that's not quite a correct statement. I would say that biorevitalization – these are programs and preparations aimed at restoring the properties of the skin by saturating it and simultaneously stimulating it within the limits of natural possibilities, as well as preventing skin aging. Whereas biostimulation using injection techniques, I would call a method of targeting the dermis, a method of powerful activation of fibroblasts with the subsequent effect of self-healing of the skin, self-leveling of its relief. By and large, I see differences in the degree of stimulation of the dermis to restore, in the level of activation of fibroblasts.
Fibroblasts are…?
T.K. Fibroblast – it is the main cell of the middle layer of the skin, the only cell of the dermis that produces all its components. Function of fibroblasts – cell renewal, which means that the condition and properties of the skin depend on the functional activity of fibroblasts. Fibroblast activity decreases with age and, in addition, under the influence of too active sun and various environmental toxins.
A gradual decrease in the number of fibroblasts leads to a weakening of the skin tissues and a decrease in the production of its main components: collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. When they are not enough, tissues lose their ability to retain water. As a result, nutrition and metabolism worsen, all skin structures atrophy. The skin loses fullness and elasticity, becomes dry, covered with wrinkles.
But human skin – an organ well adapted to self-healing. And this ability of hers is the subject of scientific attention of aesthetic medicine. In recent years, cell stimulation methods have been actively developed in order to renew, and therefore rejuvenate, the skin.
To put it simply, the task is to regulate or stimulate the processes of skin regeneration, and as a result, to tighten the oval of the face. To do this, you need to activate fibroblasts so that they increase protein synthesis and restore the skin. And of course, you need to provide them with the building material necessary for the synthesis processes.
Is it really that simple – stimulated, and the skin is restored?
Because Yes, I dare say it works. The result depends on the drugs and age. No one can make sixty-year-old skin sixteen-year-old. But to look ten years younger – quite real.
Isn't it dangerous?
T.K. I believe that the danger in dealing with medicine – this is either unprofessionalism or non-original drugs. The patient has a choice.
