It is also worth remembering that if oil is added to food (even in salads), the time the food stays in the stomach increases by two to three times. This is due to the fact that the oil envelops the food, preventing juices and enzymes from processing it rationally.

It's better not to drink food. If there is undigested food in the stomach, the liquid will only dilute the gastric juice, which will complicate the digestion of food, and also increase the burden on the gastrointestinal tract. In addition, undigested foods can "skip" into the intestines along with the liquid, where they will then ferment or rot for a long time. It is better to drink water on an empty stomach – then it instantly enters the intestines.

Remember to chew your food thoroughly. Thanks to this, the digestion process improves, because the food is better crushed and begins to be processed by enzymes while still in the oral cavity.

Protein foods should be eaten warm. If the food is warm, it will take the stomach two to three hours to digest it, this amount of time is optimal for the breakdown of proteins. Then the food is in the small intestine, in which the stage of splitting nutrients from food continues.

The digestion of cold food is a faster process. In such a short period of time, proteins are not able to be digested normally and immediately go to the small intestine. Because of this, bacteria that are found in meat products multiply, which leads to discomfort in the gastrointestinal tract (gas, constipation, bloating).
