Face cleaning – This is a procedure that fully lives up to its name. During its implementation, the skin of the face is cleansed of all impurities, clogged pores and even acne of cosmetic origin. Acne or comedones, as cosmetologists call them, affect the faces of 80% of the world's population.

Therefore, facial cleansing is recommended for all adults who have no contraindications. But we will talk about them a little later. In addition to the fact that this procedure cleanses the skin of the face from various impurities, it also helps to activate metabolic processes, blood circulation and improve the general condition of the skin.

Preparing for a facial cleansing at home

Preparing for facial cleansing at home is not much different from the salon. So, before starting the procedure, you need to steam your face. To do this, you can do a special procedure. Boil water with chamomile and mint, then cover your face with a terry towel and hold your face over the steam for 10 minutes. Chamomile will relieve inflammation, and mint will destroy bacteria on the surface of the skin.

After you have steamed the skin, you need to prepare it for cleaning. To do this, wipe your face with hydrogen peroxide, and your hands – antibacterial agent. Wrap a piece of bandage or gauze around the tips of your index fingers to avoid infection.

After you have prepared the skin, you can proceed to the actual cleaning. So, with your index fingers on both sides, press on the black dot. At this point, the dirt should come out of the pore. If it doesn’t come out, then you don’t need to try to push harder, it’s just that it hasn’t matured yet. Also, do not press with your nails, because you can scratch or leave a bright mark. During the procedure, periodically wipe the face with peroxide.

After you have finished cleaning, you need to wipe your face with an alcohol-based tonic. This will narrow the pores and prevent dirt from returning to its previous place. It is best to carry out such cleaning in the evening before the weekend. The thing is that after the procedure, pressure marks and slight reddening of the skin may remain on the face, which disappears in about a day.

Whether you are doing a facial cleansing in a salon or resorting to using home remedies, you should consult with a specialist before the procedure. Remember that this procedure has contraindications.
