But few people know that just such a calendar can help in achieving success both in the professional and personal fields. It is enough just to remember that the menstrual cycle consists of several periods, each of which to a greater or lesser extent depends on certain hormones, — and adjust your schedule accordingly.  

Days 1 to 5 of the menstrual cycle: take care of household chores

The onset of menstruation marks the first phase of the cycle. During this period, the level of estrogen, which is responsible for the physical and emotional state of a woman, decreases. In addition, along with the blood, the body loses a lot of iron. As a result — fatigue and weakness.   

These are days of downtime, when the body resists work that requires a lot of effort. It is better to cancel sports training, important meetings and meetings.

Dedicate yourself to household chores. Inspect cabinets or deal with documents that have been waiting in the wings for a long time.

Adjust the menu to increase energy levels. Enter into the diet foods containing iron and zinc (veal liver, beef, chicken, fruits). But the intake of carbohydrates is better to limit. The consumption of cakes and buns contributes to lethargy and inertia.

Days 6 to 13 of your cycle: Go to a party of friends

The second phase of the — «follicular». Follicles develop in the ovaries, thanks to which eggs are formed and estrogens are released. The high level of this hormone has a positive effect on the appearance of a woman and her emotional state: she is distinguished by an excellent memory and increased mental activity. But most importantly — during this period, a woman's ability to conceive increases.
Second phase — a great period for meeting business partners, creating new projects, attending parties and traveling.

Since the body is still weakened after the first phase of the menstrual cycle, a woman needs to include foods with a high protein content in her menu: nuts, fish, meat (beef, chicken), eggs. Protein helps to strengthen the immune system and the formation of new cells.
Those who dream of a child need to help estrogens by including vegetable analogues of the female sex hormone — phytoestrogens.

Phytoestrogens are found in the following foods:

  • soy, wheat, celery, asparagus;
  • cottage cheese, cheese, sour cream;
  • apples, carrots, cherries, pomegranates.

From the 14th to the 16th day of the menstrual cycle: catch your luck

Ovulation — release of a fertilizable egg into the abdominal cavity from the ovary — coincides with the middle of the cycle. The woman has reached the peak of her fertility and is ready to conceive.

This time is also marked by an increase in testosterone  — libido hormone.  

A woman blossoms: she is charming and sexy, full of self-confidence and can influence others. This allows you to succeed in everything: to prove to the boss the need for your promotion up the career ladder or to bring your loved one to the altar.

The only thing that can spoil the picture is the aggression caused by the increased testosterone levels. Therefore, it is worth giving up products that support the level of this hormone, — seafood, nuts, cauliflower. Instead, it is better to introduce vegetables and fruits into the diet. 

It is also worth giving up sweets and coffee in large quantities — they can cause hormonal imbalance in the body.

Days 17 to 28 of your menstrual cycle: Relax with your family

Ovulation is followed by the luteal phase, when a corpus luteum forms in place of the released egg. It prepares the lining of the uterus to receive the embryo. If conception does not occur, then the corpus luteum gradually dies off, the inner lining of the uterus exfoliates and menstruation occurs.

The corpus luteum produces progesterone and estrogen. The first hormone is necessary for conception, the second — to relieve anxiety and optimally create "life" embryo.

Due to the action of progesterone, a woman is calm and tolerant during this period.  She can build relationships, expand her circle of acquaintances, and make new friends. This time is optimal for relaxing in the family circle.

The level of estrogen drops on such days. If this does not happen, the cause should be sought in the medications taken (including contraceptives), nutrition. An excess of this hormone makes a woman irritable. So during this period it is better to give up sweets, smoked meats, semi-finished products and canned food.
From the 25th day, the woman is overtaken by premenstrual syndrome. And this means that if you did not have time to do something last time, now, guided by your personal calendar, you can attract good luck to your side.
