1. Normal skin type

Normal skin type is most common in children and adolescents. Normal skin has no flaws, it has an even color, has firmness and elasticity, there are no black spots, inflammatory elements, wrinkles and enlarged pores. But even such skin needs proper care so that your skin does not become oily or dry.

Answer the following questions positively or negatively to determine if you have this skin type:

a) Is your skin supple, firm and smooth?

b) Is there any oily sheen on the skin?

c) Do you have wrinkles, blackheads, enlarged pores and inflammatory elements on your skin?

d) Do you feel dry when washing your skin with cleansers?

If you answered “yes” to most of these questions, you are the proud owner of a normal skin type.

2. Oily skin

Oily skin type is characterized by enlarged pores, blackheads, oily sheen and inflammatory elements. Over the years, it can turn into a normal skin type. In oily skin, wrinkles appear later and in small amounts.

Answer the following questions positively or negatively to understand if you are this type of skin:

a) After sleeping in the morning, does your skin feel greasy and dirty?

b) Are blackheads and inflammatory elements visible?

c) Are there enlarged pores on the face?

d) Is there a greasy sheen on the skin? If you answered yes to most of these questions, you will look young and wrinkle-free for a long time.

3. Dry skin type

Dry skin in youth looks like porcelain, the same snow-white without a single red spot and signs of peeling. But at the same time, there is no natural shine on the skin, this is due to the fact that the sebaceous glands are not so active. The pores are narrowed, almost invisible. Often dry skin can be sensitive to external factors (sun, water, wind, frost, etc.). When washing, there is a feeling of tightness. For dry skin type, a characteristic finely wrinkled type. Such skin needs special care so as not to cause unnecessary irritation and premature wrinkles.

Answer the following questions positively or negatively to determine if you are of this type:

a) No oily sheen?

b) Do you feel tight after washing?

c) Are there any irritations in the form of peeling and redness due to environmental factors (water, wind, sun, frost)?

d) Are there any blackheads, enlarged pores and inflammatory elements? If you answered yes to most of these questions, you have dry skin.

4. Combination skin

Combination skin type is very common nowadays. On the cheeks and temples, the skin is dry, slight peeling is possible, the pores are narrowed, there is no oily sheen, and enlarged pores, oily sheen and black dots are noticeable in the forehead, nose and chin (T-zone). Such skin needs separate care.

Answer the following questions positively or negatively to determine if you have a combination skin type:

a) Do you have a feeling of tightness on your cheeks and neck when you wash your face?

b) Are enlarged pores visible in the T-zone?

c) Are there blackheads appearing in the area of ​​the nose and chin?

d) Is there a noticeable oily sheen in the T-zone?

e) Do you feel dryness in  eyes and cheeks? If you answered "yes" to most of these questions, you are – owner of a combination skin type.
