How to prevent heart disease: WHO recommendations

The World Health Organization has published recommendations for reducing risk factors for developing cardiovascular pathologies:

  1. Total cessation of smoking. Nicotine – one of the most harmful substances, extremely negatively affecting the functioning of blood vessels;
  2. Healthy diet: limiting salt intake, avoiding animal fats, eating at least 400 grams of vegetables and fruits daily;
  3. Exercising for at least 30 minutes a day. Running is one of the simplest and most effective ways to prevent the development of heart disease;
  4. Body weight control: normal human body mass index – up to 30 kg/m. With the help of a balanced diet and physical activity, you can maintain your weight at a normal level at any age;
  5. Limiting alcohol consumption to 2-3 units per day. 1 unit of beer – it is 250 ml., wine – 100 ml., and heavier alcoholic beverages – 25 ml;
  6. Compensation of diabetes mellitus with hypoglycemic drugs or insulin. Normal blood sugar levels for diabetics – up to 6 mmol/l on an empty stomach and 7.5 mmol/l after meals;
  7. Monitoring of arterial pressure and adequate and constant therapy at arterial hypertension. Normal body pressure – up to 130/80 mmHg;
  8. Blood lipid control with statins: total blood cholesterol should be less than 4 mmol/L.

Health must be protected from a young age. The cardiovascular and respiratory systems are the most important in the human body.

If a person has heart disease – almost all organs and structures of his body will work poorly, as they will not be able to adequately receive the oxygen they need.

Any disease, including pathologies of the cardiovascular system, is much easier to prevent than to treat. Preventive measures will help you to maintain the health of your body for many years.     Очень много факторов влияет на состояние сердца. Это и банальные стрессы, и ежедневные переживания, с которыми все мы регулярно сталкиваемся, и недосыпы, и грязный воздух в больших мегаполисах. Но это то, с чем в большинстве случаев мы ничего седлать не можем, но ведь, есть те стороны жизни, которые нам под силу изменить, да, большинство их нас по роду своей деятельности много времени проводит в офисе сидя за компьютером.

    Но ведь никто не запретит нам вместо кондиционера просто открыть окно и подышать сбежим воздухом. Каждый час делать перерыв как минимум на 5 минут просто для того, чтобы встать и размяться. А если еще хотя бы часть пути до работы/дома проходить пешком, а не ехать на транспорте, то это еще и отличные кардионагрузки без дополнительных финансовых затрат. Но, конечно, было бы неплохо постоянно еще и спортом заниматься. Некоторые люди считают, что питание вообще никак на сердце не влияет, но это в корне неверно. По себе могу сказать: с тех пор, как свой рацион изменила и стала ежедневно употреблять пробиотики (готовлю кисломолочный продукт на закваске кардио от Бакздрав), то реально сил больше стало. И если раньше порой раза 3-4 в неделю появлялись боли в области сердца и головокружение не связанное с изменением давления, то теперь этого нет! Конечно, такие меры использовать нужно постоянно, это лекарство, которое пьешь периодически.
