Mesotherapy: the essence of the procedure, methodology and purpose 

Mesotherapy technique exists since 50 – 1990s and is a kind of classical therapeutic effect on tissues. The method consists in the introduction of various drugs into the skin. But mesotherapy – it is also a whole science with an evidence base about the effects of certain drugs not only on the skin, but on the whole organism as a whole. Through the skin, there is a direct effect on the nervous, humoral and immune systems of the body. The positive effect of the procedures lies in the mechanical, reflex, pharmacological and depositing effects.

With the help of preparations that are administered by mesotherapy, we not only achieve a significant improvement in the quality of the skin, but we can also treat it if necessary. Preparations for mesotherapy can be both monopreparations and complex (cocktails). Such cocktails may contain vitamins, minerals, amino acids, vascular preparations, hyaluronic acid, as well as other active ingredients. Therapeutic procedures involve first an intensive course, then a prophylactic one, and then supporting sessions are recommended. Procedures are always selected individually, taking into account the programs for the correction and restoration of skin damage in the process of chrono- and photoaging.

2. With age, in the epidermis thickening of the stratum corneum occurs, there is a lack and loss of moisture, an increase in the pigment content in the cells of the basal layer, which is manifested by age-related chloasma and age-related hyperpigmentation. 3.
