How it was: Inga Voloshina-Andrashko about the Sakura Esty Derm conference

Two years have passed since the first Sakura Esty Derm conference was held, and on April 20, Ukrainian aesthetic medicine specialists were able to attend this event again. The Sakura Esty Derm Confest can be safely called the most anticipated event of 2018, as Esty Derm conferences are always very interesting, original and, most importantly, useful and informative. However, the format of the conference, 50 speakers and more than 300 participants at a training event in a nightclub – this has never happened before in Ukraine. How was the Sakura Esty Derm – The event organizer, co-founder of Esty Derm, dermatologist and cosmetologist Inga Voloshina-Andrashko told estet-portal.com exclusively.

Please share your impressions of the Sakura Esty Derm Confest, did everything go well?

No matter how much we want to realize our ideas 100% -  always get more than 90%, and that's good. It is impossible to do 100%, there are always some minor failures, but in the general mass they are not felt. I have heard only positive feedback so far, the participants of the confest are very satisfied.

As for the general approach and general concept of – we have 310 doctors in the hall, and this is very serious, because this is a medical event for dermatologists and injection doctors, an event for people who have been in the profession for more than a year.

I like the phrase that this is an event for advanced professionals, because we understand that people have been involved in injectable techniques and dermatology for many years, and we have a lot to talk about, and there are many topics that we can discuss.

 

This is the second Sakura Esty Derm event. What did you particularly like about this year's program?

I liked the fact that we introduced a business section in the new program. She was the perfect ending to yesterday. Elena Stoyanova, Alla Grabchenko and Ekaterina Varvaryuk kept people in the hall, and they did not want to leave. At 18:30, there were almost 80% of the audience in the hall, and this is a huge figure. We have 50 speakers, 14 of which are foreign. This is an unprecedented event, it has never happened before in Ukraine. In order to make our event as brainstorming as possible, we used the following trick: we had Live Demos in the form of duets.  One speaker works as a presenter, that is, he makes a presentation on the stage, and the second person makes a manipulation in the manipulation room, directly demonstrating the procedure. There was a demonstration and a presentation at the same time. In my opinion, The section on intimate contouring was very interesting. There was a live demonstration of the procedure, as well as a very interesting report by the psychotherapist and sexologist Anastasia Grabaruk, who managed to talk about libido, gender, body beauty, and the importance of this knowledge. Valeria Rabizo and Egor Kolodchenko also very successfully completed this section: Egor spoke about laser technologies, and Valeria –  about injection contouring, which is gaining momentum today. The first section, in my opinion, was very good, because whatever you call a ship, that's how it will sail. Our friend Andrey Taranenko – this is an art historian, a man who wrote a lot of scripts in his life. He wrote the author's text and voiced it, and this is what & nbsp; We opened our event with a half-hour philosophical lecture on the history of beauty. We are very fond of beauty, art, and symbiosis in science, aesthetics and cosmetology, and, in my opinion, this was the best discovery yesterday. Also, Magdalena Al-Nagash made an amazing video, funny, mischievous, with a sense of humor, but absolutely on point. It was a top ten shot, and this is a titanic work – I know what it's like to make a video like this. It was very cool, very modern, edgy, and I think that she will also set a new spiral in the form of such presentations. I would also like to note that this is the first event, except for foreign ones, where I was, where the timing was kept to the minute. We have as planned in the program, that's how we finished. All speakers were extremely intelligent, respected the time of the listeners and the time of other speakers, and were on full timing. Therefore, as far as I am concerned – I am satisfied and glad that the efforts

What do you expect from the second day of the Sakura Esty Derm Confest?

As for today's day – the section "Psychoaesthetics, psychodermatology" has just ended, and this is also a very acute issue. In the morning there was a section of "Young Professionals" who had the opportunity to come to the podium and talk about what they learned or what they were afraid of. All four speakers were simply brilliant. Alexander Karpinsky, Maryana Kutna, Yana Kravchuk and Andrey Zimenkovsky were the stars today. At the moment there is a section of dermatology, a report on sensitive skin. This is also a very important point in working with our patients, because it is impossible to give injections to patients who are unprepared, as we will have complications. This is what the last section, the "Complications" section,  where our special guest Nelly Konikov, dermatologist, professor from Boston, will be the moderator. Nelly pays a lot of attention to the issues of complications in dermatology, because she is directly involved in these issues. Live Demo will be a big block, today it's an interesting topic – lips, lipofilling and threads. We are waiting for Andrey Malakhov with Tatyana Epifantseva, Anna Ogurtsova with a report on Aptos threads and many others. We have a very rich, interesting program, I like that all the presentations are new, and we focus on this.

Why do you think doctors think the Sakura Esty Derm Confession is special?

Because I and our whole team would never allow themselves to stamp "Sakura". If this event were held twice a year, or even every year – it is quite possible that we would lose this uniqueness component.

We want to make a truly unique event, and give our participants new information.

But, unfortunately, it cannot be updated in such a large volume every year. We want to make interesting topics for speakers, because sometimes they need to be given diametrically opposed topics so that they don’t have well-established presentations in their usual stream, and they don’t follow the knurled track. A new topic gives a splash, emotion, and the speaker comes out having done something new and unusual for himself, and this is obtained on a completely new level. Plus, I'm a perfectionist, and it's quite difficult to go through life like that, but when everything works out – it's very nice because people appreciate it. I want to do my best, I will try, and it is quite possible that in two years we will come up with something new. But the fact that it will be of high quality, and it will be at the level, I can promise!
