Every doctor can remember his first steps in the profession, his first serious achievements, about which he can speak almost as passionately as about his own children. And it is especially interesting to follow the steps of professionals in the field of aesthetic medicine – after all, this is a very young science, which in recent decades has made a rapid breakthrough thanks to the painstaking work of specialists who are passionate about their work. Estet-portal.com offers readers an interview with one of the most prominent representatives of the aesthetic medicine industry – about love for the profession, about faith in oneself and about the most interesting discoveries dedicated to beauty and youth.

Profession... Have you ever thought that any profession, if it is beloved and absorbs all your time, is somewhat reminiscent of a progressive infection? Take, for example, our profession or any other, as you like. Let's imagine how we devote ourselves completely to our work. How it completely takes over our thoughts and time. How slowly but surely grows in the depths of our consciousness the desire to further expand our own knowledge, to develop further and stronger in the direction of everything new and unknown.

She, our favorite profession, becomes not only our work, but also turns into a hobby. We think about her almost all our free time – and not only think, but also work, learn, expand and apply our knowledge. It becomes our life. We grow with her, and she develops with us. We become one!

And time is ticking.

And then one momentous day something happens, because of which everything changes. Life doesn't just slow down, it stops completely. And everything stops!

It could be, for example, a disease. And now we feel as if our path to the future is blocked by a barrier - heavy and unbearable. We stop in front of him and begin to understand how shaky everything in this world is and unreliable. How fast time is. And now we can only stand and think…

We stop and think, think... Because we can't do anything else – sometimes from wild weakness and fear that it will not be possible to get out. And sometimes from real immobility, because we find ourselves & nbsp; chained to a hospital bed with drip chains. And then we begin to remember and analyze our whole life, which was divided into "before" and "after". Well, just like in the brochures for aesthetic medicine!

Something similar happened to me in November 2013. Then a serious illness burst into my life, sweeping away everything in its path – all plans, hopes. She showed and proved to me how shaky everything is in this world, made me stop and think about the past, present and ... future. I have never had so much free time as in that period. There was time to think, to remember everything. All my 30 years in aesthetic medicine.

It all started in the distant and so beautiful 1980s. Then there was not even the very concept of "aesthetic medicine", there was no dependence of the patient on the doctor involved in aesthetic medicine. We were equal. Then the patient did not unconditionally accept our advice. We grew up and learned this new science together. The patient came to us with his problems, worries, fears, and together we tried to solve them.

Being a biologist, I wanted to first understand all the mechanisms of aging, and only then to find the right keys for these difficult, but very interesting and important locks that open the door to rejuvenation of the body. It was in those years that I began to understand how important the role of this science, which did not yet officially exist, in the lives of our patients!

- Tell me, Mr. Professor, what discoveries did you make in those years in the field of biostimulation and tissue regeneration?

I began to study the main methods of rejuvenation that already existed at that time and their effect on the skin at a biological level. We are talking about ultrasound, oxygen-ozone therapy, radio waves, various manipulations with light and sound, electrical muscle stimulation, as well as fillers (natural and synthetic). After conducting scientific and clinical research, I have made the following discoveries and conclusions.

1984 The use of a tampon (bicarbonate buffer) in mesotherapy. This made it possible to significantly reduce pain in the patient, as well as improve clinical results, since the diffusion of the administered pharmaceutical preparation in the dermis increased and the number of free & nbsp; radicals (which means that the oxidative reaction and, as a result, the inflammatory reaction has decreased).

1986 Calculation of the dosage of the administered pharmaceutical preparation for mesotherapy. This made it possible to use physiological concentrations of the active ingredient of the drug, to improve the clinical and biological response – and all this without side effects and risk.

1989 Ultrasonic Hydro-class. A medical method used to reduce body fat by activating the cavitation process and inducing ultrasound in an aquatic environment.

1991 Skin biostimulation. Improving the biological and physiological functions of the skin, followed by the onset of an aesthetic effect, as well as slowing down the aging process in the dermis.

1992 Endomodulation. Optimization of the enzymatic reactions of our body with the help of biological precursors to normalize the concentration of neurotransmitters, hormones and structural biological components. No side effects.

1994 Subjective Hormone Replacement Therapy. Introduction, in case of insufficient function of the organ, a strictly defined amount of hormones necessary for the implementation of metabolic functions. Without Feed Back Negative (inhibition of the body's natural production of certain hormones).

1995 Amino Acid Treatment. Allows you to get rid of general and localized fat deposits in a short time.

1996 Life Quality Medical Program protocol. Physiological medicine program to slow down and reverse the effects of the aging process. A personal approach to each patient, which allows not only to extend the years of life, but also to significantly improve its quality at the physical and psychological level.

2000 Ossigenoclasi. A medical technique that reduces localized fat deposits by oxidizing the adipocyte membrane.

2003 Biostimulation with Platelet Growth Factors. Regenerative medicine protocol required to optimize all biological processes in the dermis. Developed in collaboration with Prof. Victor Garcia (Medical University of Barcelona).

2008 Liposowing. Use of adult (mature) adipocyte stem cells for further injection into atrophic areas of the face and body with subsequent regeneration.

2009 Fat Apoptosis. Protocol of aesthetic medicine (Lipolitik), which allows to reduce the volume of adipose tissue on the face and body without the development of inflammatory processes. Absolutely safe.

2010 Medical Face Lifting. A Regenerative Medicine protocol aimed at optimizing and regenerating all facial tissues. Joint work with Prof. Victor Garcia (Medical University of Barcelona).

2011 Face Sculpture. An aesthetic medicine protocol that allows you to optimize the lost volumes of the face and body. Developed jointly with Professor Roberto Tulli (Brazil).

2012 Genetic Polymorphism of Patient Welfare. It allows, by choosing and influencing the patient's genetic polymorphism, to improve his physical, psychological and aesthetic condition.

2013 Eziopatogenetica. Protocol against so-called cellulite.

2014 Full Face Optimize. Medical protocol for optimizing the biological and aesthetic state of all tissues of the face and body. Medical and pharmaceutical formulations specifically designed for this protocol are used.

- It's wonderful that you remember so well your every step in the development of aesthetic medicine!

All these works – they are almost like children to me. Is it possible not to remember when and how your children were born?

- Your works, developments and methods have not gone unnoticed in the scientific world. Do you really have government awards for your contribution to science?

Yes, this is the Silver Medal of the President of Italy for scientific merits in 2002, the title of Commander of the Italian Republic for scientific merits to the Fatherland... There were other awards, but these two – main.

- In which of your books, scientific works can you get acquainted with your discoveries and developments in aesthetic medicine?

All my personal achievements and experience I have combined in three volumes "Aesthetic and Physiological Medicine". I wanted to share with my colleagues all that I can and know. I also really hope that someone will continue all my scientific endeavors! I am very grateful to my colleagues who follow me, as well as to everyone who prayed and thought about me during the difficult moments of my life!
