14–March 16, the Estet Beauty Expo exhibition was held in Kyiv, within the framework of which the company «Estet MD» held the XVII International Congress on Applied Aesthetics and Cosmetology in Ukraine, which brought together a number of training events for specialists in aesthetic medicine – dermatologists, cosmetologists, trichologists and dermatocosmetologists.
The general partner of the XVII International Congress on Applied Aesthetics and Cosmetology in Ukraine this year was SIP PHITOGEN Ukraine.

On March 14, within the framework of the congress, the Forum of Trichologists was held, the program of which was developed specifically for doctors actively involved in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of diseases of the hair and scalp. The scientific leadership of the forum was taken over by Natalia Yunak, trichologist, head of the Eastern European department for the organization of trichological rooms at Gestil International, and Yulia Ovcharenko, professor, candidate of medical sciences, president of UHRS.
Trichologists Forum was supported by ТМ Gestil International and Ukrainian Hair Research Society. The official partners were: the company PMG, TOP Cosmetics.
The forum was opened by Yulia Ovcharenko, who presented the most interesting information about the treatment of trichopathy in children.
The program was continued by Professor Tatyana Protsenko, who made a presentation on clinical markers of pathologies of the skin of the scalp and hair.
Kuzma Khobzey, a trichologist, raised the topic of such a pathological condition as telogen effluvium and modern approaches to its therapy.
Dermatovenereologist Natalia Chuiko discussed the topic of the condition of hair and skin in endocrine disorders, analyzed the biochemical aspects of hormonal disorders in men and women leading to alopecia.
Evgeny Eroshkin, PhD, dermatovenereologist, presented a new method for the diagnosis and treatment of alopecia – application of vasculo-stromal stem cells (Regenera Aktiva method).
Yulia Chernaya, dermatovenereologist, cosmetologist, trichologist, introduced mesotherapy possibilities and place in the protocols for the treatment of trichological problems using the latest generation Mesoline preparations as an example.
Irina Litus, a dermatovenereologist, cosmetologist, trichologist, shared her experience of using plasma therapy in the treatment of trichological problems.
Much attention this year was paid to an interdisciplinary approach in the correction of trichological problems. In particular, nutritionist Oksana Skitalinskaya spoke about how rational nutrition and hair diseases are related. And her colleague Alexandra Kirilenko prepared a report on microelement metabolism disorders and the possibilities of modern multi-element hair diagnostics.
Well, Natalia Yunak finished the forum with a report on the use of cosmetic preparations for alopecia of various origins. The characteristics of the main biologically active components in the formulations of lotions used to restore the health of the scalp and hair were considered.
At the end of the day, a nice bonus awaited the listeners – drawing of prizes from partners.
In parallel with the Forum of Trichologists, a seminar "Aesthetic correction and anti-age therapy in one procedure" was held, which took place with the support of the general partner of the Congress – SIP Phitogen.
Yulia Lyashenko, dermatologist, cosmetologist (Russia), spoke in the first block and built her report around the medical and aesthetic correction of the patient's face ("before" and "after").
The seminar was continued by Lyudmila Kamelina, doctor of the highest category, dermatologist, cosmetologist, who provided comprehensive information on the choice of drugs according to the morphological type of aging, taking into account ethnic and gender differences, and biorevolumetry, as well as demonstrating her own techniques for working with a patient in live-demo format.
Ezio Costa, M.D. from Italy, completed the seminar with a block dedicated to full face procedures. The doctor focused on the anatomical areas of particular importance, and also presented the drug Regenyal Super Idea, which is used to deeply support the soft tissues of the face.
March 15, Maria Shirshakova's author's seminar "Facial rejuvenation strategy through reposition of the ligamentous apparatus: Ligament Liquid Lifting" took place.
The seminar brought together a full hall of cosmetologists, aesthetic medicine specialists who widely practice injection techniques. This year, TM Princess acted as a premium partner of Maria Shirshakova's author's seminar.
In the first part of the seminar, Maria Shirshakova presented the theory about the method of reconstruction of ligaments through "liquid lifting"; using fillers based on hyaluronic acid and spoke in detail about the Ligament liquid lifting technique. And in the afternoon, she demonstrated her skills at a live-demo.
Also, on March 15, a two-day Club of Dermatocosmetologists – an event for practicing dermatocosmetologists who follow all the innovations in the field of aesthetic medicine, including the prevention and correction of dermatological problems that cause aesthetic discomfort to patients and reduce their quality of life – gathered a galaxy of wonderful Ukrainian dermatologists and cosmetologists. Medicare, ТМ Dermalogica, Ukrainian Aesthetics, TOP Cosmetics became the official partners of the Club of Dermatocosmetologists.
Alexander Turkevich made a review report on dermatological pathologies that he had to deal with over the years of his cosmetology practice.
Valentina Zolotareva, PhD, dermatocosmetologist, made a presentation on peelings, mesotherapy, professional home care.
Professor Tatyana Protsenko shared her experience in the topic of a gender approach to acne treatment.
Evgeny Eroshkin, PhD, dermatovenereologist, raised the topic of complications and adverse events in everyday practice, and also spoke about the causes of skin hypersensitivity, methods for correcting and preventing the development of irritated skin syndrome.
Dermatovenereologist Irina Kapshuchenko also made two presentations: the first was devoted to the method of non-invasive carboxytherapy (in collaboration with dermatologist Anastasia Dobrovolskaya), and the second was about thread lifting in anti-age correction in patients of different age groups and aging morphotypes.
Vladlena Averina, dermatologist, scientific consultant of the Academy of Scientific Beauty, spoke about the rules for using cosmeceuticals after minimally invasive aesthetic correction procedures.
One of the founders of Ukrainian cosmetology – Irina Medvedeva – focused on the inevitable adverse events that arise in the practice of a specialist in aesthetic medicine, and spoke about her own algorithms for working with them.
Natalya Chuiko prepared a report on a new line of drugs used in the preparation, rehabilitation, prolongation of aesthetic medicine procedures, and practically fell in love with all those present.
Dermatovenereologist, cosmetologist Maria Sergeeva presented a technique for remodeling the dermis using peelings based on trichloroacetic acid.
The report of candidate of medical sciences, immunologist Lyudmila Osipova devoted to hyaluronic and botulinum therapy in patients with autoimmune diseases aroused great attention – she managed to dispel the fears and doubts of the assembled doctors and prove to them that the cosmetologist can also work successfully and safely with this group of patients – subject to certain rules, of course.
Guest from Russia – dermatologist, cosmetologist Olga Bryantseva – spoke about her experience with placental preparations in cosmetology.
Svetlana Dyachuk, dermatologist at the Bogomolets clinic, thought about the topic of skin neoplasms in the practice of a cosmetologist.
Dermatologist, cosmetologist, geriatrician Alla Sintsova spoke about the control of regeneration and modern possibilities of cosmetology in this direction.
And the event was completed by technologist Yulia Gagarina, who successfully brought together all the currently available data on the skin microbiome.
On March 16, a seminar "Non-hyaluronic preparations in aesthetic medicine" was held, which was opened by Alexander Turkevich, Ph.D. market.
The official partners of the seminar "Non-hyaluronic preparations in aesthetic medicine" became the company "Optimal Set of Cosmetologist!", NanoBioMedical, DMK Ukraine, medical trading house "Doctor Yudina".
Professor, dermatologist Andrea Corbo (Italy) and aesthetic medicine doctor Edita Adamczyk-Kutera (Poland) spoke in the block dedicated to collagen preparations, sharing their experience in working with collagen-based preparations.
Dermatologist, cosmetologist Olga Koryakina and Alexander Turkevich presented their achievements in the block on preparations based on polynucleotides.
The thematic block dedicated to preparations based on calcium hydroxyapatite became a mono-speech by Svetlana Larkina, Ph.D., maxillofacial surgeon, who not only spoke about her "life hacks", but also demonstrated her own techniques for working with HAC in live demo.
The seminar on polylactic acid preparations has completed the seminar. Svetlana Korkunda, combustiologist, Vitaliy Kovalenko, dermatovenereologist, cosmetologist, Sergey Dryga, dermatovenereologist, cosmetologist, spoke about the correction of age-related changes in the skin of the face and body with the help of preparations based on polylactic acid and their experience with such preparations.
Also learned from live demonstrations by experts such as Ph.D. Maria Shirshakova, PhD, maxillofacial surgeon, Svetlana Larkina, dermatologist, cosmetologist Yulia Lyashenko, dermatologist, cosmetologist Lyudmila Kamelina and MD Ezio Costa.
