How it works

The contractions and relaxation of muscle fibers that occur during electrical stimulation restore the nervous regulation of muscle contractions, increase muscle strength and volume, resulting in an increase in adaptation and muscle fatigue threshold.

At the cellular level in the cytoplasm of myocytes, the content of macroergic compounds (ATP, creatine phosphate) increases, their enzymatic activity increases, the rate of oxygen utilization increases and energy costs for stimulated contraction decrease compared to arbitrary. Activation of blood supply and lymph flow leads to the acceleration of trophoenergetic processes. The expansion of peripheral vessels that occurs simultaneously with passive muscle contraction leads to the activation of blood circulation in them. Thus, the action of the pulsed current is primarily aimed at increasing the tone and speed of muscle response.

The use of facial and body myostimulation in aesthetic medicine

Myostimulation of the body – is a hardware correction of the figure, it is not used in the early stages of rehabilitation. It can be included in the complex therapy program starting from the 5-6th month after surgery in order to restore the tone of the muscles of the face, chest, and abdominals.

It is also recommended after mammoplasty (starting from the 1-3rd month after the operation) to strengthen the back muscles in order to improve posture and prevent scoliosis. Feedback on myostimulation is almost always positive.

Procedures on the myostimulator (device for body shaping) are carried out 2-3 times a week, duration – 20-40 minutes. The course is 15-20 procedures.
