Особенности коррекции верхней трети лица

A person's face is not just called the mirror of his soul, because it reflects the emotional state, experiences, positive or negative feelings and emotions. With age, many physiological changes occur in the layers of a person's face, as a result of which it changes, loses its expressiveness, attractiveness and beauty. Upper third of the face – this is an area that very clearly reflects the thought processes on a person's face.

Plastic surgeon Vladimir Pirus  calls it the intellectual part and especially for the readers of estet-portal.com talks about the features of the correction of the upper third of the face.

Why is the upper third of the face – this is the "intellectual part"

Intellectual part – because this is one of the zones where emotions are most manifested, including some intellectual emotional manifestations. As they say, the work of thought on the face, and the imprint is deposited. Knowing the preferences of cosmetologists and doctors who are engaged in contouring, I understand perfectly well that, unfortunately, this area sometimes remains deprived of attention. Most often, botulinum toxin is used, and very rarely some volumizing techniques are used. Therefore, I want to talk about how you can apply volumization, restore volume and correct the relief of the upper third of the face.

What modern techniques do you use to correct changes in the upper third of the face

As for the manifestations of the influence of mimic muscles, of course, botulinum toxin still remains relevant, and as before, the upper third of the face – this is the area of most frequent use.

There are not only dynamic manifestations, but also three-dimensional ones, that is, you need to look at the face in a three-dimensional aspect, and understand that the structure of the face changes qualitatively.

Therefore, modern fillers, which are quite high quality and have a minimum of side effects, can be used as a correction method. But as a plastic surgeon, I have a little more opportunities, so I actively use microlipografting, lipofilling, and of course, as a plastic surgeon, I still perform many plastic surgeries in this area.

Let's just say that in different age categories there are different combinations of age-related manifestations. If we are talking about the middle category, these are people aged 35-45, then the symptoms may manifest in one zone, but this does not mean that there are no changes in the other zone, they may just be less pronounced. It all depends on the severity of age-related manifestations, and if this is clearly noticeable and introduces some kind of dissonance in the appearance of a given patient, then, of course, it needs to be corrected comprehensively.

It's like a puzzle that folds into a picture and creates a certain integrity of the image of a person, so you need to approach it comprehensively and adjust neighboring zones that anatomically complement each other.

How important is the stage of rehabilitation of the patient after plastic surgery

I believe that plastic surgery should work hand in hand with cosmetology. Many patients at some stage need rehabilitation, recovery and care. It is clear that there is a stage of the acute postoperative period, when, in principle, some kind of care is needed, antiseptics, the creation of comfortable conditions for the injured area, it is necessary to minimize the symptoms, but then you can really connect rehabilitation procedures. These can be microcurrents, ultrasound, lymphatic drainage massage, various physiotherapy techniques, which, most often, are owned by cosmetologists. At this stage, cosmetology can significantly help our patients to rehabilitate, go through the recovery phase more quickly and return to social life faster.
