The TAP blood collection system, developed by Seventh Sense Biosystem, has been tested on more than 1 000 patients, who report a comfortable and painless procedure.

Ease of use and unique features make TAP the ideal solution for one of the most frequently performed medical procedures – blood sampling.

It has been found that at least 20% of adults experience a feeling of fear at the sight of a needle. At the same time, venipuncture is one of the most frequent medical procedures. The reduction of pain and the convenience of conducting the usual test allows the patient to feel more comfortable, and the doctor – obtain maximum quality and accuracy of analysis.

The TAP system uses microneedles that are so small that they cannot be seen with the naked eye. Microneedles penetrate the upper layers of the skin and, thanks to an innovative microfluidic extraction method, the blood enters the reservoir. In preliminary clinical trials, phlebotomists using the TAP system were able to take blood from patients for whom traditional venipuncture was not possible.
