Acne is the most common problem in dermatology and occurs at any age, although it is most common – during puberty. Its solution requires an integrated approach. The wide range of Mesoestetic products allows the specialist to find individual solutions for each individual patient. Today we will consider one of these clinical cases.
Patient Anna K., 19 years old. I turned to a specialist with complaints of papulo-pustular formations, "black dots" and excessive oiliness of the skin.
Each specific case in any age group should have an individual approach, it should not be limited to just one cleansing or peeling.
After collecting anamnesis from this patient, studying the results of the examination by an endocrinologist and gastroenterologist, the specialist can proceed to the choice of a therapeutic technique.
For the treatment of patient Anna K., the professional Dermazelan pack program from Mesoestetic was chosen.
What is Mesoestetic's Dermazelan pack program?
The Dermazelan program is for professional use by a qualified professional only. It regulates sebum production, prevents clogged hair follicles, relieves inflammation, and controls bacterial growth. The Dermazelan program is a set consisting of the following products:
- degreaser;
- Dermazelan masks;
- Purifying cleanser;
- Dermazelan local corrector;
- Dermazelan Support Cream.
Mesoestetic Dermazelan pack program principle
Stage 1 – professional care
We clean the skin with Purifying cleanser, wash it off with wet wipes, tone the skin with Hydratonic lotion. We apply a degreasing lotion on a pre-prepared gauze napkin and wipe the skin with it to eliminate the hydro-lipid layer. Apply 5 ml of Dermazelan mask all over the face.
Due to the fact that this patient has moderate acne, the mask was applied for 3.5 hours. After washing off the mask with Purifying cleanser, we perform mechanical cleaning. On the "immature" inflammatory elements and nodules, we apply a local corrector Dermazelan. We complete the procedure with Dermazelan support cream.
Stage 2 – home care
The specialist provided the patient with home care: Purifying cleanser, local corrector and Dermazelan maintenance cream.
5 days after the fine plastic desquamation had passed, the patient returned to the specialist. On this day, the treatment protocol was as follows.
- Purifying cleanser.
- Toning with Hydratonic lotion.
- Application of Salicylic Peeling 10% from Mesoestetic. Peeling exposure time – 1.5 minutes.
- The leather has been mechanically cleaned.
- Dermazelan concealer applied locally.
- The Purifying face mask was applied for 15 minutes.
- After removing the mask, Dermazelan maintenance cream was applied with wet wipes.
Daily at home, in the morning and evening, the patient washed her face with Purifying cleanser, toned her skin with Hydratonic alcohol-free lotion, and completed the treatment with Dermazelan maintenance cream.
Dermazelan corrector was locally applied during the day if necessary. It was recommended to apply Purifying face mask once a week for 20 minutes and 1-2 times a week for 20 minutes – Hydra-vital face mask.
After 14 days, the patient Anna K. again visited a specialist. The procedure protocol was similar to that described above. At the moment, the patient is using the Dermazelan maintenance home kit at home, which includes a cleansing gel, a local corrector and a maintenance cream. Apply the Purifying face mask once a week for 15 minutes and apply the Hydra-vital face mask 2 times a week for 20 minutes.
After 21 days, the patient is recommended to visit a specialist to adjust the treatment protocol both in the salon and at home. Soon we will provide the results of Anna K's treatment, and next Friday we will review another clinical case at estet-portal.com. Follow our updates!
