Today, the Ukrainian House hosted a conference on the topic "Infectious Diseases in Children. A Modern View on Diagnosis, Treatment and Prevention".
The organizer was NMU named after A.A. Bogomolets.

A sharp discussion and difference of opinion was caused by the question of the treatment of diphtheria. Manfred Green (MD, MD, Haifa Clinic) has concluded that using significantly lower doses of a diphtheria drug produces the same therapeutic effect and improves the patient's condition better than using our standard doses.

Many pediatricians from Ukraine did not agree with the dosages presented by a foreign colleague. In their opinion, a large dosage of the drug relieves the severity of the condition faster and solves the problem much better.

Of course, most of the conference was devoted to the prevention and treatment of hepatitis. Unfortunately, in our country, this disease occurs very often in many of its variations.
It was interesting to consider the issues of immuno- and antibiotic therapy for infectious diseases, as well as their combined use.
