Important features of Juvederm® Volite: Vycross™
technologyJuvederm® Volite by Allergan is designed to improve the quality of the skin. It is used on the face, neck, décolleté and hands. A feature of this drug is the duration of the result, namely, 9 months after the first injection. Vycross&trade technology is based on a combination of long and short chains of hyaluronic acid, which are cross-linked. This allows prolonged action with a single injection. The key to an effective procedure is the correct insertion technique, which is demonstrated in this video.
Juvederm® Volite is injected deep dermally, and most importantly, when it is injected – prevent the formation of papules.
It must be remembered that a single injection of the drug gives an effect for 9 months, respectively, the drug is a replacement therapy for the dermis, and is in it for a long period. Therefore, when injecting Juvederm®; Volite must follow all the rules of septic and antiseptic, as with the introduction of fillers.

Injections of Juvederm® Volite: indications and limitations by injection site
Indications for the administration of Juvederm® Volite are signs of photo- and chronoaging, dehydrated skin, hyperpigmentation. To be honest, Juvederm® Volite is shown to almost everyone.
Juvederm® Volite is a Vycross™ technology that has cross-links, so it has restrictions on injection zones.
The first restricted area is the area of the periorbital region, the drug is not injected above the zygomatic ligament. Also Juvederm® Volite must be carefully injected into the area of the nasolabial triangle. When it is introduced into this zone, even dermally, an aspiration test is necessary. The bridge of the nose is also a dangerous area with respect to anatomical formations, therefore, in this area, Juvederm®; Volite is not entered.

Technique for administering Juvederm® Volite Walkthrough
When injecting Juvederm® Volite in the face should be chosen as lateral as possible. The needle is inserted to its full length at an angle of 30 degrees, then the correct insertion depth should be checked. To do this, you need to raise the needle: if it contours, then you are too superficial, and you need to repeat the injection. If, after checking the depth, you understand that you are in the deep dermis - inject a small amount of the drug, namely 0.01 ml, then pause a little, and withdraw the needle. The next injection can be repeated after 5 mm.
It is important that no papules form during the injection. If the papule is still accidentally formed, it can be kneaded immediately after the injection, and this will not affect the aesthetic result of the procedure. If you develop papules while injecting Juvederm®; Volite – adjust the injection depth of the drug, it should be more.
Excessive bleeding may be an indication that you are in the hypodermis, so check the injection depth frequently. Particular attention should be paid to injections in the neck. The skin in this area is much thinner, so be careful how deep you inject the drug and check it as often as possible.
Appearance of papules with Juvederm® administration; Volite is unacceptable, as they can be stored for a long time, namely several months.
All patients of our clinic are satisfied with the results of using Juvederm®; Volite from "Allergan". It is with this preparation that we can actually achieve brilliant results. The task of every doctor – produce efficient and safe procedure, and adherence to the techniques is the key to success.
