- ENA Betelgeiz Soft,
- ENA Betelgeiz Mild,
- ENA Betelgeiz Hard,

The uniqueness of ENA Betelgeiz fillers lies in the high concentration of cross-linked hyaluronic acid, with pronounced viscosity and elasticity properties, effect duration up to 18 months.
Let's consider each position in more detail.
ENA Betelgeiz Soft:
contains cross-linked hyaluronic acid 24 mg/ml, lidocaine 3 mg/ml, phosphate – saline buffer solution, pH – 7.0. – qs

Filler ENA Betelgeiz Soft is recommended for fine wrinkles, wrinkles around the eyes, lips, corners of the mouth, horizontal forehead wrinkles, wrinkles between the eyebrows, neck; when correcting the lips - if light anti-age correction is necessary, in order to avoid hypervolumes and the sensation of a foreign body, to preserve naturalness and naturalness.
ENA Betelgeiz Mild:
- the composition includes cross-linked hyaluronic acid 24 mg/ml, lidocaine 3 mg/ml, phosphate – saline buffer solution, pH – 7.0. – qs

Filler ENA Betelgeiz Mild is recommended for correction of nasolabial folds, temporal region and cheekbones, correction of vertical forehead wrinkles. Medium-density filler, therefore, it is excellent for lip contouring, perfectly keeps volume and shape. When the drug is absorbed, the shape of the lips will last long enough without subsequent corrections.

- in composition: cross-linked hyaluronic acid 24 mg/ml, lidocaine 3 mg/ml, phosphate – saline buffer solution, pH – 7.0. – qs
- particle size – 900 µm
- effect duration – 9-18 months.
Filler ENA Betelgeiz Ultra is suitable for maintaining volume and contour, correcting deep nasolabial folds, eliminating asymmetries, chin deformities, correcting the shape of the nose, mandibular angles .
Contouring procedure: assessment of proportions and harmony
The lip contouring procedure can be divided into two stages: lip contour correction and lip augmentation.

Before starting the procedure, it is necessary to assess the proportions of the lips. It is considered ideal to use the principle of the golden section – which reflects the approximate and average norms of the structure of the nasolabial triangle:
- The proportions of the upper and lower lips – approximately 1:1.6 (size and width)
- The volume (bulge) of the upper lip at the extreme point is literally 1-2 mm more than the same parameter of the lower
- The size and width of the upper lip – on the contrary, 10 -25% less than the lower
- The distance from the lower part of the nose (septum) to the lower part of the filtrum (the base of the upper lip in the middle) is 1.7-2.3 cm
- The distance from the middle part of the contour of the lower lip to the contour of the chin is 3-4 cm
- The width of the filtrum corresponds to the width of the two front teeth
- Open smile: 2/3 exposure of the anterior incisors and complete or almost complete concealment of the lower incisors
The tasks of harmonizing proportions can be diametrically different, and objectively small lips do not always need additional volume.
Possibly, the defect is related to the distance between the nose and the edge of the red border. Therefore, our task is to competently collect an anamnesis and evaluate all objective and subjective signs, to improve the harmonization of lip proportions.
Another test for determining the harmony of the proportions of the mouth is the "Aesthetic Ricketts Line". It is conditionally drawn in profile from the tip of the nose to the most convex part of the chin.
With the help of this line, you can safely determine that if the lips protrude – this means that they are too dominant, if the lips do not reach the line, then there is a possibility of increasing the volume. The peculiarity of correction of the size of the lips in profile is that the "ideal" depends not only on the size of the lips, but also on the size of the chin and nose.

Contraindications for lip contouring:
- Presence of oncological diseases
- Chronic connective tissue and blood diseases
- Damage to the lips or skin around, herpes, acne, inflammatory areas at the moment
- Recently suffered inflammatory diseases
- Pregnancy and lactation

- Healed sores on the lips
Protocols for lip contouring with ENA Betelgeiz Mild
Protocol for lip contour correction with ENA Betelgeiz Mild :
- Conducting an examination, taking anamnesis, taking a photo of the area where the drug is supposed to be injected.
- Filling out the informed consent for the contouring procedure.
- Cleaning the correction zone with a disinfectant solution
- Injection anesthesia. After removing the remaining anesthetic, the skin is again treated with a disinfectant.
- The injections are carried out at a depth of 2mm, using a linear retrograde technique using a 27G needle.
- The needle is inserted all the way at the border of the white roller, while it is contoured and the cut is directed to the inner border of the lips. Correction of the contour of the upper lip is carried out from the commissures to the columns of the filtrum. For ease of administration of the drug, the lip is fixed between the thumb and forefinger of the free hand. Particular attention should be paid to the detailed study of the cupid's arch and filtrum columns to accentuate which the drug is injected by microbolus technique into the middle part of the red border, as well as linearly retrograde into the skin part of the upper lip, from the red border to the nose. The amount of the drug for 1 injection is 0.03-0.05 ml. In total, 0.3-0.5 ml is injected along the contour of the upper lip and filtrum, and 0.2-0.3 ml along the contour of the lower lip.
Such a correction allows you to correct the shape of the lips, delay the appearance of purse-string wrinkles, lift the corners of the mouth and provide some lifting of the middle part of the upper lip.

Protocol for lip augmentation with ENA Betelgeiz Mild:
The bolus-multipuncture injection technique is used to increase the volume of the lips.
- Preliminary marking means selection of 4 sections of the upper lip (2 in the center + 2 laterally) and 2 sections of the lower lip. In the central part of the upper lip, injections are made from a point located on the border of dry and wet mucosa, towards the bend of the "arch of Cupid", using a 27G needle 4 mm long. 0.02-0.03 ml of filler is injected into each point with the formation of a microbolus in the submucosal layer and subsequent active massage in order to evenly distribute the drug in the center of the upper lip, which ensures accentuation and some inversion of the lip in the central segment.
The volume of the drug injected into symmetrical areas should be the same.
- Correction of the lateral parts of the upper lip is performed using a 4mm needle using multipuncture technique. The needle is inserted at the border of dry and wet mucosa, injections are made into the submucosal layer in a total volume of 0.3-0.5 ml with each side. The volume of the drug depends on the wishes of the patient and anatomical features of the structure of the lips. After the injection of the filler, an active massage of the injection zone is performed.
- Dental floss can be used for lower lip augmentation and placed between the central incisors of the lower jaw, dividing the lip into two symmetrical segments. On each side, 0.2 ml of the drug is injected into the red border area using a 27G needle or 25 G cannula. Thus, boluses are created from one point in half of each lip.
The drug is administered very slowly to avoid pain. After removing the floss, we perform a light massage.
