Many of us are subject to the stereotype of old age: a person is getting old, which means that the best days are behind us and it is too late to realize our dreams to the fullest. Photographer Vladimir Yakovlev insists that this is not true. His photo project "The Age of Happiness" introduces us to people in their 60s, 70s and even 100s who live to the fullest and even try new things.

Older readers will surely remember the lines from Lermontov's poem "Borodino": "Yes, there were people in our time, not like the current tribe ...". And indeed: these lovely pensioners actually live much more interesting than most young people who prefer to pass the time at the computer. However, it is never too late to change something in yourself. Just once ask yourself the question: "What do I really want?" It is from him that the road to change begins.
