RegenLab presented another novelty at the International Congress of Anti-Aging Medicine in Monaco: CellularMatrix. This product combines hyaluronic acid and autologous platelet-rich plasma to provide the benefits of both in one bottle.
RegenLab CellularMatrix product specifications:
- contains 2 ml of natural non-thickened cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) (1,550 kDa) at a concentration of 20 mg/ml (40 mg total), in addition to a thixotropic cell separation gel;
- provides the ability to obtain 4 ml of a mixture of autologous platelet-rich plasma (A-PRP) and hyaluronic acid from 4 ml of autologous blood in a closed system in just one movement;
- immediate formation of a network of hyaluronic acid molecules in which platelets are distributed;
- much higher viscosity than autologous platelet-rich plasma;
- the possibility of a longer stay and release of growth factors in the dermis;
- positive effect on cell migration and differentiation;
- up to 3 intradermal injections are required;
CellularMatrix combines the hydration effect of a hyaluronic acid biopolymer with the stimulating properties of growth factors. While hyaluronic acid acts as a temporary replacement for the dermis, platelet-rich plasma stimulates the surrounding cells.
Using the convenience of CellularMatrix technology, it can be used on any part of the body, from hair to toes, if needed.
After injection, the 3D CellularMatrix is colonized by fibroblasts, which produce extracellular matrix components and stimulate the remodeling of dermal tissue.
- used in aesthetic medicine for more than 25 years;
- binds water and creates volume;
- stimulates migration and proliferation of dermal cells;
- moisturizes and rejuvenates the skin from the inside.
- stimulates the production of collagen;
- increases the elasticity and thickness of the skin, improves its tone;
- stimulates the differentiation and proliferation of stem cells;
- promotes angiogenesis.
A mixture of hyaluronic acid and platelet-rich plasma is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to one of the components of the drug. It is also contraindicated in patients who suffer from a serious disease such as cancer or infectious diseases.
The administration of a mixture of hyaluronic acid and platelet-rich plasma to children, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and patients suffering from inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis or ankylosing spondylitis is not recommended.
