Researchers at Chempen University (California) noted that men may react more strongly to the fact of sexual infidelity than women. Scientists interviewed 64,000 people about what upsets them more: the sex of a loved one with another person or falling in love without the fact of physical betrayal.

Researchers have found that 54 percent of heterosexual men are more likely to get upset about the fact of physical infidelity, while only 35 percent of women experience this type of infidelity a lot, most women are more upset about the fact that a partner is in love with another woman.

Differences in the perception of infidelity were the same in all groups of men and women, regardless of their income level, the duration of the relationship and the presence or absence of infidelity in the past. However, gays and lesbians react approximately the same to infidelity, regardless of gender. The results of the study were published in the journal Archives of Sexual Behaviour.

Another reason for differences in reasons for jealousy may be that a man who is in a relationship with a pregnant woman can never be sure that the child is really his, and therefore he is more afraid of physical infidelity.

Be unique and confident!
