Treatment of hidradenitis at home is possible with the obligatory observance of hygiene standards. If the inflammation is caused by a cut, scratch, blockage of the sweat glands, trauma to the skin, – apparently, a staphylococcal infection was introduced. The first remedy for cuts – iodine solution, brilliant green, or 3% hydrogen peroxide solution.

Disinfection is used to treat hidradenitis at home:
1. Aloe disinfection.
- You need to take a few leaves of perennial aloe, wash them in running water, dry them, cut off the thorns.
- Cut along the leaf to extract the juice, apply to the damaged area for 15-20 minutes. Repeat the procedure up to five times a day – until the pus is completely drawn out of the wound and it is cleansed.
2. Alcohol.
- Apply a solution of 2% boric alcohol or 10% camphor alcohol.
- Thoroughly wipe the damaged area with a cotton pad before and after manipulations with abscesses.
3. Vishnevsky's ointment.
- Make bandages using Vishnevsky's ointment, fixing the bandage with adhesive tape.
- Change the bandage as often as possible: 3-5 times/day.
It is not worth it to open abscesses caused by hydradenitis on your own – infection can be introduced and provoke complications and the spread of infection. Keep changing dressings and disinfecting wounds to treat hidradenitis at home until the pus comes out spontaneously – then the abscess can be cleaned, observing the rules of hygiene: do not touch the wound with dirty hands, wash your hands with soap before and after dressing, use sterile cotton and gauze.
4. Bitch's udder cake.
- 2 yolks of chicken eggs;
- tsp honey;
- tsp flour (rye flour is better);
- tsp lard (melted lard).
Preparation: Knead the dough, add a little flour so that the cake does not flow. Apply to the sore spot and apply a bandage. If possible, do not move the compress from the cake. Keep for 12 hours, replace with fresh tortilla. To avoid infection, do not reuse the same lozenge.
5. Laundry soap.
- Grate 50 gr. laundry soap;
- 50 gr. rye flour;
- art. l. sugar;
- art. l. vegetable oil;
- 1 church candle (small), finely chopped.
Knead the dough, pour 1 tbsp. boiled water, cook 2–3 min.
Mix the hot agent with candle wax, apply on multi-layered gauze so that it does not leak, then apply a bandage on the sore spot, tie it with a bandage.
Change the compress every day until recovery.
6. Honey with propolis.
- Propolis Powder – 1 part;
- honey – 2 parts;
- 50 gr. rye flour.
Prepare a cake, apply to the wound, secure with a bandage. Change 2 times/day.
7. Compress of rye flour and cream.
- 50 gr. rye flour
- tsp Heavy cream, heavy sour cream
Mix until thick, adding flour, make a cake and continue according to the scheme: attach, tape, change 3 times / day.
