Not only sedentary work and high heels are harmful to health. At least that's what Tim Hutchful says – doctor from the British Association of Chiropractors.

Pencil skirt. We girls are well aware of how these skirts hinder movement. It turns out that with regular wear, such skirts can lead to muscle strains and problems with vertebral discs.

Heavy beads. Our neck is already in constant tension, because it has to hold a rather difficult head. And any heavy object, including beads, can disrupt the balance point of the neck, which in turn leads to increased neck tension and pain. And wearing such accessories for a long time can even result in back problems.

Shaping underwear. If they are not too tight and contain a lot of Lycra, supportive underwear is beneficial and improves blood and lymph flow. However, underwear that is too tight can not only make it difficult to breathe, but also restrict the movement of the middle part of the body, as a result of which there is an excessive load on certain parts of the spine. Result – back problems: upper and lower back injuries.

High heels. The negative consequences of constant wearing of heels have been known to us for a long time: impaired blood circulation, problems with the knees and back. It is recommended that you wear different shoes every day (including those with different heel sizes or no heels at all).

A halter bra. Such a bra is harmful because it forces the neck to support the weight of the bust. And this, in turn, is bad for posture. An ill-fitting bra. Especially harmful are bras that do not properly support the breasts, as well as bras with thin straps. Try to wear sports bras whenever possible.

The bag is too big. This is not news to us either. It goes without saying that if you constantly carry a heavy bag on one shoulder, it will lead to a curvature of the spine.

Tight jeans. Jeans that restrict movement cause the loss of the cushioning properties of a normal gait. Thus, there is excessive pressure on the joints. And a tight belt can cause leg pain.
