To avoid ailments that occur as a result of the use of food products containing harmful E-additives, you should know which components are hidden behind the set of symbols indicated on the product packaging. Harmful E-additives and diseases that arise due to their use
Preservatives. These include absolutely all sulfites, including E221 sodium sulfite, E222 sodium hydrosulfite, E223 sodium pyrosulfite, E224 potassium pyrosulfite, E226 calcium sulfite, E227 calcium hydrosulfite, E228 potassium hydrosulfite. These components provoke narrowing and irritation of the airways, which can cause attacks in people who suffer from asthma.
Asthma, allergic reaction
Azo dyes. Despite the fact that azo dyes are assigned their own classification number, & nbsp; which speaks of their safety under the rules of the European Union, yet many of them are provocateurs of asthma, blurred vision, skin rashes and rhinitis. Such harmful E-additives include: E102 tartrazine, E104 quinoline yellow, E110 sunset yellow, E122 carmoisine, E123 amaranth, E124 ponceau, E128 red 2G and E155 brown HT.

Flatulence and diarrhea may result from the consumption of large amounts of foods containing filler/sugar substitute E420 sorbitol.

It is not possible to completely avoid eating foods containing E-additives, but it is possible to reduce the amount of such foods in your diet. For example, try to indulge yourself less often with purchased cakes, sweets and cookies – all this can be baked at home.
