Researchers at Boston University have found that women who give birth after the age of 33 live longer. The fact is that late pregnancy has a positive effect on the female body and slows down the aging process.

A Boston University study found that women who decide to have a baby after age 33 are twice as likely to live to 100 as those who have a baby before age 29.

Dr. Thomas Perls, lead author of the study, stated that these results should in no way be taken as a message or parting word to delay pregnancy. The natural ability to conceive a child at a later age indicates that a woman's reproductive system ages more slowly. Thus, we can conclude that pregnancy slows down all the aging processes of the female body.
