There are many diseases in the world. We are already used to many of them and do not consider them anything out of the ordinary. Colds, bronchitis, gastritis and even cancer will not surprise anyone. But doctors every day are faced with simply incredible anomalies, pathologies and diseases, which are a real puzzle for specialists who, it would seem, have seen everything over many years of practice. This time, foreign doctors encountered a very interesting case of allergy to the basis of life on planet Earth - water.

Australian Ashley Morris contracted Aquagenic Urticaria - that's what science calls water allergy - at the age of 14. Then Morris suffered a rather severe tonsillitis; a loading dose of penicillin helped to overcome the disease, but the side effects exceeded all possible expectations.

After each contact with water, spots began to appear on the body. Moreover, this incomprehensible phenomenon was clearly not going to leave Ashley. The girl turned to a dermatologist, who conducted a series of tests and made an unpleasant diagnosis. As it turned out, the penicillin taken affected the amount of histamine in Ashley's blood, and this is what led to the observed consequences.

Now Ashley Morris is 19. The disease, alas, has not left her. Contact with water still causes spots on the girl's skin. Now they are bright red and, what is worse, accompanied by severe itching.

Of course, Ashley had to change her lifestyle a little - the swimming pool was a thing of the past for her, and she had to forget about ordinary sports. In addition, Morris tries to spend more time in well-cooled and ventilated places - a water allergy sufferer simply cannot afford to sweat again. The umbrella has become an absolutely necessary wardrobe item for the girl.

The saddest thing is that it is not possible to save the girl from a terrible disease in the foreseeable future. Doctors have already figured out, due to the lack of which particular substance, an allergy to water arose. Alas, the artificial correction of the imbalance - by introducing histamine from the outside - did not change the situation.

Doctors don't know exactly why Ashley didn't get better. Some fear that the true cause may lie much deeper, in the internal organs and endocrine system Morris. So far, the 19-year-old Australian suffers every time she touches a substance of which she herself is 80 percent.
