Актуальные вопросы маммопластики: сочетание методов для эффективной коррекции груди

Breast plastic surgery has been the most popular and demanded operation in aesthetic surgery for many years, which is why training events are constantly held around the world, where the most pressing issues of mammoplasty are discussed. At the closed session on mammoplasty at the IMCAS 2018 World Congress, a very interesting issue of the combined use of methods for effective breast correction was considered.

In an exclusive interview for estet-portal.com, a plastic surgeon from Australia, clinical director of the «Cosmetic Refinement Clinic Geelong» Niamh Corduff and Costa Rican industry representative Juan Jose CHACON QUIROS.

What do you think, on what, first of all, a good result of mammoplasty depends?

Today it is very important to understand that a good result of mammoplasty can depend on many factors, and all of them must be taken into account. For example, the size of the pocket is of great importance - it must be small for the best results of the operation.

Pocket size matters a lot - it should be small for best mammoplasty results.

I especially like the access from below, when the implant is placed from the bottom up. This allows you to install the implant as evenly as possible, and avoid the occurrence of asymmetry, which is quite common after mammoplasty.

Which global trends in mammoplasty could you single out?

At the moment, all the attention of plastic surgeons and implant companies is directed to reducing the size of the suture, by reducing the size of the incision. Reducing trauma is important. Unfortunately, today most surgeons pay very little attention to sutures. Although, in fact, I have not yet met a single woman who would like big scars. That is why, all the possibilities of modern science are aimed at achieving maximum results with minimal trauma.

What do you think about the combination of mammoplasty with lipofilling?

I think this is a good option, because if we have any nuances in asymmetry, they can be easily corrected. Our anatomical structures of the body are not always symmetrical. Similarly, the mammary glands are often of different sizes. Because of this, when placing implants, asymmetry can become more pronounced, and this will cause dissatisfaction for both the surgeon and the patient, and we need a beautiful and maximally physiological result. That is why the use of lipofilling around the implant (above and below) becomes simply necessary in patients with asymmetry.

The use of lipofilling around the implant becomes a must in patients with asymmetry.

But a particularly important point in breast lipofilling after implant placement is the correction of the area around the nipple. Such augmentation helps to achieve not only maximum symmetry, but also to reduce the risk of implant contouring. This technique gives the most beautiful and anatomically correct result.

World-class experts commented on the information provided at the closed session. A plastic surgeon from Australia, Niamh Corduff, as well as an industry representative from Costa Rica, Juan Jose CHACON QUIROS, shared their opinions with estet-portal.com journalists.

About combination of tummy tuck liposuction with breast lipofilling:

"For liposuction of the abdomen, the following technique was most often used: 4-6 inlets were made horizontally from the white line of the abdomen at different heights, from which liposuction was performed. Today, it is more popular to divide abdominal liposuction into two parts according to areas: lateral and anterior. It is more physiological to carry out the procedure in order to achieve the maximum result in two directions: to carry out the front surface vertically, starting from the inguinal region and moving upwards, and the lateral surface - from the same point in the inguinal region, but at an angle of 45°. This gives a more physiological and aesthetic result.
"Often, surgeons are faced with the problem of asymmetry after implant placement. We get a good result with a combination of liposuction of the abdomen with breast lipofilling. It is important to correctly mark (vertical and horizontal), and use lipofilling to correct the upper quarters. Filling must begin with the areola area, & nbsp; and move linearly radially. This method makes it possible to improve the aesthetic result of the asymmetry that may occur after the installation of implants.
