The peeling procedure always involves a number of restrictions for the patient during the rehabilitation period, especially in relation to exposure to high temperatures and ultraviolet rays. But if we are talking about aqua-peeling, then this is one of the few salon procedures that is quite acceptable shortly before visiting the beach or solarium, since this type of skin cleansing does not irritate it and even helps to ensure that the tan is smoother. Aqua peeling has many advantages compared to other cleansing procedures, all thanks to the non-contact method of treatment.

What is the peculiarity of aqua peeling and in what cases is it used

Aquapeeling, which is also called gas-liquid dermabrasion, is an effect on the skin  using a high-speed jet of gas and liquid. At the same time, the gas part – this is concentrated oxygen, and the liquid part can vary and contain both saline, and vitamins, and minerals, and hyaluronic acid, and other components, depending on the tasks set by the doctor.

The gas-liquid mixture is supplied with a special nozzle at an ultra-high speed, the effect on the skin is non-contact and gentle, the skin is freed from dead skin  particles of the epidermis, massaged, saturated with oxygen and useful substances. It is worth noting that the gas-liquid jet during aqua-peeling is supplied chilled, thanks to this the patient does not hurt, even if he has very sensitive skin or thin skin around the eyes is treated. In addition to cleansing the skin, aqua peeling helps to get the following additional results & nbsp; care:

  • tissue oxygenation,
  • getting rid of puffiness,
  • increased muscle and skin tone,
  • lifting effect,
  • deep massage.

Additional advantages of aqua-peeling are that non-contact exposure to the skin with a gas-liquid jet does not contain traumatic abrasives and chemicals, as well as

  • eliminates inflammatory reactions as there is no traumatic skin injury;
  • minimizes the risk of bacterial and viral complications, since the exposure is non-contact;
  • allows you to open the pores and clean them immediately, even out the surface of the skin and polish it;
  • promotes non-injection administration of useful substances intradermally;
  • can be used regardless of the season and even promotes an even tan.

Of course, aqua peeling is not carried out in case of exacerbation of any disease, including an infectious one, especially when it comes to herpes.

Peculiarities of aquapeeling: when it is recommended to prescribe it

An important advantage of aqua peeling over other similar cleansing procedures is the absence of a rehabilitation period after skin cleansing.

The preparatory part of the procedure consists in the usual cleansing of the skin. Further, the doctor can adjust the depth of aquapeeling with the help of various nozzles. At a distance of about 5 mm from the skin surface, the gas-liquid jet exfoliates the horny scales – microdrops are delivered at high speed and acquire the properties of solid abrasive particles, the jet simply blows away the exfoliated epidermis from the skin surface. At a distance of about 2 cm from the surface of the skin, the gas-liquid jet has a massage and lymphatic drainage effect.

Aqua peeling is recommended for problematic skin with acne, comedones and  manifestations of post-acne, for  skin with fine wrinkles and scars, with flabby and pigmented skin. With the surface action of a gas-liquid jet, the skin relief is visibly leveled, fine mimic wrinkles are eliminated. A course of deeper exposure to aquapeeling is able to smooth out even vertical wrinkles. Usually 5 procedures are recommended at different intervals – depending on the depth of impact and the goals set.

Thus, the effectiveness of the aquapeeling procedure, combined with non-traumaticity and simple care during the rehabilitation period, explain the increased interest in it from patients of cosmetology clinics.
