Эффективные методики безопасной коррекции филлерами гиалуроновой кислоты

Contour correction with hyaluronic acid fillers is becoming more and more popular every year. In turn, this significantly increases the requirements for the procedure, for the products used for plastic surgery, and for the qualifications of a specialist. Today, there are quite a lot of products and approaches to this procedure on the market.

Find out in the article on estet-portal.com, how to make the procedure for correcting hyaluronic acid fillers even safer and effective from plastic surgeon, founder and president of the Research Center for Injection Safety (RCIS), Vice-President of the Italian Society of Aesthetic Surgery, Dr. Salvatore Fundaro.

Tell us about your specialization in aesthetic medicine

S.F.: I am Dr. Fundaro from Italy and am a general and plastic surgeon. Usually, I perform both surgical and non-surgical procedures, mostly in the field of aesthetic medicine.

Also, in my practice, surgical interventions on the body, such as breast augmentation, liposuction and others, are actively carried out types, as well as aesthetic surgical procedures on the face. But we currently have a high demand for minimally invasive procedures, and so I frequently perform procedures of this type.

What is the purpose of your visit to Ukraine

S.F.: I am in Kyiv to start a training program for Ukrainian specialists in a special contouring technique.

This is the beginning of our activity and we start it with the training of  YVOIRE trainers in Ukraine - Train the Trainers - LG Anatomologics − YVOIRE filler training, and we will continue this in the future, because we want to share our approach to filler correction, along with an anatomical approach, with every doctor living and working in this field in Ukraine.

Remember, that company "Academy of Scientific Beauty" is the official distributor of YVOIRE fillers.

Changes in the market for dermal fillers and correction approaches

My default image

S.F.: I think dermal fillers have had a very important development in the past year, a lot of new products have come on the market, but it's very important to make sure that the manufacturer of the new fillers is a good manufacturer, because that the appearance of our patients is a very important aspect. I carefully check who makes the filler and what exactly is in the syringe that I use in my work. Therefore I use YVOIRE fillers from LG because I want to be sure that my patients are safe.

LG Chem – is the largest chemical company, one of the most famous manufacturers of innovative medicines and medical products in the world.

LG Chem has its own Science Park, Laboratory and production sites for the production of hyaluronic acid substance and YVOIRE filler, which indicates that YVOIRE filler is a “full cycle” (from an idea to an innovative formula – from the production of a hyaluronic acid substance to a filler with unique YVOIRE properties - for the realization of excellent results). And this is very important, because they can control the whole cycle, and as a result we get a very high quality filler, and we are confident that we are using a safe product for the patient.

Another aspect is that we are now beginning to understand that by knowing the physical characteristics of the filler we can decide which particular filler we can use in that particular area to achieve a particular result.

Thus, knowing the rheological characteristics of the filler and the basis of these characteristics, we can plan the treatment of our patients.

Differences between YVOIRE fillers and other fillers for contouring

SF: If you want to understand the difference between fillers, it is important to know the rheological characteristics. YVOIRE fillers have a high modulus of elasticity, which means that this filler has a very high volumization capacity.

I think this is the main difference between other fillers, as we usually need to increase the volume of our patients' faces in order to reduce the signs of aging. Another characteristic of the YVOIRE filler is that LG uses a very long chain of HA and this allows us to reduce the amount of crosslinker, which allows us to reduce the post-filler inflammatory response that fillers can give, and this again is very important, because if we reduce the post-inflammatory reaction after the injection, we reduce the recovery period for our patient.

Product and performance requirements for filler correction

S.F.: As for the YVOIRE portfolio of fillers, I certainly prefer YVOIRE contour because YVOIRE contour  is a volumetric filler, with a high volumization factor, and with the help of it, I can effectively restore the volume of the face when correcting fillers with a small amount of the drug.

Superficial peels: the beauty of the skin will sparkle with new colors

This is also very important because the patient has to pay less. This is an important aspect also because if you reduce the amount of filler we use with fillers, it will also reduce the side effects that we can get. In this case, we can offer a treatment with a very low level of side effects, and the patient can immediately return to their usual lifestyle after the procedure.

Benefits of YVOIRE Fillers

My default image

S.F.: The characteristic of the YVOIRE contour filler is the high concentration of hyaluronic acid inside the product, and this can create some difficulties during injection.

The YVOIRE contour filler is the densest product of the entire line, and in this case, LG solved this problem by adding smaller HA particles that fill the gaps between the larger ones.

This reduces friction between the particles and thus greatly facilitates injection, improving drug distribution during filler correction.

So you can use a very dense filler for correction, but technically you're injecting very simply.

We can define YVOIRE fillers as   hybrid properties, as they have a high modulus of elasticity (G’), but due to the fact that the particles have a smooth surface, their viscosity remains low.

Thus, the filler has two significant properties - high modulus of elasticity (G’) and low viscosity. That is, we combine two main properties that you can find in other fillers on the market.

What technique do you use for filler correction

S.F.: Today, most often we have to restore the lost volume of the face, in particular, the volume of the middle third of the face. Most often, I use YVOIRE contour filler in a certain area for work, because it is a filler with high volumization rates, and I also prefer using a cannula.

Peelings against hyperpigmentation: what is the point

This technique allows to reduce soft tissue damage that may occur during injection, reduce the risk of vascular complications during correction with fillers.

Technical features of using YVOIRE Classic and YVOIRE Volume fillers

S.F.: These fillers have very different purposes. I use YVOIRE Classic for lip correction when I want to achieve a natural result.

If the patient wants to significantly increase the size of the lips with fillers, I recommend using YVOIRE Volume.

We started the training program and as a result, the specialists were very interested in both the new YVOIRE filler and the techniques we demonstrated. We believe that knowledge of anatomy – this is the foundation for a doctor when working with patients, and we want to share this knowledge, therefore, I believe that in our training programs - CADAVER COURSES YVOIRE (LG Chem), which take place in Malta and Istanbul, Ukrainian specialists in the field of aesthetic medicine will open up for yourself a lot of possibilities.
