D. MD, Professor, Vice-President of the Ukrainian Association of Dermatovenereologists and Cosmetologists, member of the European Academy of Dermatovenereology Tatiana Svyatenko:
– I believe that this forum was a success because the organizers managed to gather a motivated and interested audience. The format of interdisciplinary consideration is extremely interesting and useful, since trichology lies at the junction of many disciplines. A dermatologist must have a quality basic education, be well trained in other areas of medicine: endocrinology, gynecology, neurology, toxicology and various other medical specialties in order to be successful and practice in trichology. This is the value of such forums, when different specialists have the opportunity to discuss the same problem through the prism of their specialty.
Pure beauty: which hair shampoo to choose
D. MD, Professor, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Ukraine, member of the European and American Academies of Dermatology and Venereology Tetyana Protsenko:
– The multidisciplinary format of the event is certainly practically important and useful. A feature of this forum is the involvement of specialists of various profiles. And rightly so, since the earliest manifestations of systemic diseases, severe infections, may be accompanied by symptoms that are more likely to be ignored, for example, hair loss. Therefore, the more specialists of different profiles – both doctors and non-medics will know that any problem on the skin associated with hair can be the first signal of a somatic illness, the more pluses we will eventually get. Indeed, the creation of beauty will depend on how quickly this is revealed, and, no less important, the preservation of health, efficiency and the desire to maintain one's aesthetic appearance. It is no less important today that a modern doctor needs to be able to build a dialogue with aesthetic stylists so that they correctly convey the necessary information to their clients. It is very important that clients do not become patients and then critically ill for the rest of their lives. Therefore, such interaction and such events are very important.
