Until recently, cosmetologists working with Emet™ I had to look for training programs or wait for a new conference to get acquainted with the news and learn new techniques. But now the Ukrainian-American Training Center for Medical Cosmetology and Minimally Invasive Surgery “EMET Medicine” has opened in Kyiv, and any cosmetologist has the opportunity to improve their skills, get advice on working with the company's products, and exchange experience with colleagues.
Olga Rogovaya – President Emet™.
Why do you consider the opening of the company's training centers important and relevant for doctors?
- For us, this is really a very important and interesting project. Our company has been on the market for five years, and after analyzing what the market needs today, what cosmetologists need, we came to the conclusion that it is necessary to open training centers. Initially, we – distribution company, but, nevertheless, we understand that there is no one magic pill that solves all the patient's health problems. It is impossible to realize all the wishes of a patient who came to see a cosmetologist with the help of one drug, and therefore, from the first day of our work, we have been positioning an integrated approach to skin treatment. To implement this approach, the doctor must have not only deep knowledge in the field of application of cosmetic products, but also understand the issues of some related specialties – gynecology, oncology, surgery.
Today it is the second training center – the first was opened not so long ago in Dnepropetrovsk. We are proud to be able to offer doctors the opportunity to specialize in cosmetology, dermatology, and surgery. Our products are absolutely safe. We are confident that by conducting training, showing all injection techniques, we are acting completely legally, on the basis of all necessary licenses and certificates, which is very important today. Moreover, we work only with licensed, officially registered drugs.Your company was one of the first to pass the new procedure for registration and licensing of its drugs, wasn't it?
Yes, it is. In June 2015, amendments to the rules for registration and licensing of injectable drugs were legislatively adopted. This is a very complicated and lengthy procedure, including, among other things, a mandatory visit by a representative of the Ministry of Health to the production site to control product quality. And we are proud that since the beginning of 2016 we have received new registration certificates for all our injectable drugs. Cosmetologists who come to our training center will, of course, work with absolutely safe licensed preparations.
What, in your opinion, is the success of the company's training centers, and what can they give to our cosmetologists?
It is very important to note that our training centers offer an individual approach to each student. We try to meet the highest requirements by providing knowledge – starting from the basics of cosmetology, the basics of mesotherapy and ending with the preparation of a comprehensive program for the patient. We cooperate with the Institute of Gerontology, trichologists, and other professionals in the field of aesthetic medicine. In our training center, classes are taught by the best doctors, well-known international speakers who share their own experience with the audience, talk about the latest achievements in the field of cosmetology.
