Причины купероза: каких факторов нужно остерегаться

Quite often, women address dermatologists and cosmetologists with an aesthetic problem in the form of «stars» on the face. This phenomenon is called rosacea.

This pathology is based on persistent expansion of the vascular apparatus of the skin (capillaries, arethirioles, venules) with the formation of telangiectasias, caused by both internal and external factors. Couperosis is most common in patients with the first and second skin phototype, due to the more superficial location of the vessels.

On estet-portal.com read what factors underlie this disease, as well as how to effectively counter the main causes of rosacea.

The main exogenous and endogenous causes of rosacea

Couperose – This is a polyetiological disease. Small skin vessels can lose their tone under the influence of factors such as:

•    sudden temperature changes (frequent climate change, regular visits to baths, saunas and solariums);

•    endocrine diseases (disturbances in the functioning of the thyroid and gonads);

•    systemic connective tissue diseases (lupus erythematosus, dermatomyositis, scleroderma);

•    liver disease (hepatosis, cirrhosis, liver failure);

•    hormonal changes (taking oral contraceptives, pregnancy and menopause);

•    diseases of the cardiovascular system (arterial hypertension, venous insufficiency);

•    chronic stress;

•    unbalanced diet (mainly fatty, spicy, sweet food);

•    alcohol abuse, smoking;

•    genetic predisposition;

•    diseases of the digestive system (dysbiosis).

Couperosis causes not only aesthetic discomfort, but also provokes structural changes in the skin and premature aging.

Acquired and congenital rosacea: main differences

Etiologically, rosacea can be divided into two large groups:

I.    Congenital. This form of rosacea is manifested in such severe pathologies as Rendu-Osler disease, Sturge-Weber disease (nevoid amentia), Louis Bar syndrome (ataxia-telangiectasia). In such conditions, it is almost impossible to completely cure rosacea, but drugs intended for the treatment of these diseases can eliminate their manifestations on the skin.

Telangiectasias can also be a symptom of poikiloderma (an atrophic change in the skin, the pathogenesis of which is vascular and pigmentary disorders).

II.    Acquired. This type of rosacea develops as a response of the body to the effects of internal and external  provoking factors.

The acquired form of rosacea, unlike the congenital form, responds well to treatment.

Timely determination of the cause of the disease is the key to its successful treatment.

Causes of rosacea: features of the pathogenesis of the disease

Basic  The formation of telangiectasias is an imbalance between the processes of vasodilation and vasoconstriction. Normally, these processes are in balance, and such vasoactive substances as prostaglandins, endothelin, prostocyclins and nitric oxide regulate vascular tone.  But chronic exposure to negative factors shifts this balance towards vasodilation, which leads to the formation of erythema.

Several stages of rosacea can be distinguished:
1.    At the first stage, redness is accompanied by a feeling of heat, a rush of blood to the face, several dilated capillaries are observed against the background of erythema (localization: wings of the nose, cheeks, center of the chin).

2.    At the second and third stages, the dilated vessels are connected into a grid and persistently appear against the background of congestive hyperemia (localization: the center of the face).

3.    The fourth stage is characterized by the involvement of almost all facial vessels with the appearance of pale areas due to compensatory vasospasm.

Advanced stages of rosacea are difficult to treat, however, the use of modern methods of therapy allows even in such cases to achieve an improvement in the clinical picture of the disease. Methods for identifying the causes of rosacea and effective treatment tactics

Having determined the cause of rosacea, it is necessary to conduct a full course of treatment for the underlying disease. At the same time, meso- and

laser therapy sessions. can be performed With the help of a laser device, you can quickly get rid of telangiectasias. This is a 20-minute procedure during which the vessels coagulate and the skin becomes noticeably lighter. In some cases, to achieve the effect, the patient may need several sessions of laser therapy (extensive telangiectasia or advanced stages of rosacea).

Mesotherapy – injection method for the treatment of rosacea with the help of medicinal preparations or meso-cocktails (vitamins, extracts from plants, trace elements, hyaluronic acid, drugs, collagen or elastin). The course of treatment is carried out in several sessions (their number may vary depending on the stage, but usually 5-6 procedures are enough). The effect comes after 2-3 procedures.

The optimal effect in the treatment of rosacea can be achieved by combining meso- and laser therapy.

Treatment of rosacea should be comprehensive and timely. This allows you to achieve the most pronounced result in the shortest possible time.
