Аллергическая реакция на восковую эпиляцию

Waxing is a fairly effective method of removing unwanted body hair, because you can enjoy smooth skin after such a procedure for several weeks. However, after hair removal, an allergic reaction in the form of redness and rash is possible. Read the article on how to avoid such consequences.

After waxing, a rash occurs almost immediately, during the first day after the procedure, as a manifestation of mechanical and thermal skin irritation.

How to Wax

There are a few rules for waxing that will help you to minimize the unpleasant consequences.

Before the procedure, you can not: take a bath, steam in the sauna, sunbathe or visit the solarium on the day of depilation. If you have previously had a chemical peel, microdermabrasion or any other exfoliating procedure, VEKS can only be done after 7-10 days.

Immediately before the procedure, the preparation rules must be observed. The skin must be cleansed and degreased (beautician uses a special professional tonic and soothing depilatory lotion).

After epilation, it is forbidden to visit the sauna, solarium or use decorative cosmetics, so it would be better to carry out this procedure in the evening so that the skin has time to recover and rest overnight.

If redness cannot be avoided, cold lotions with a decoction of chamomile or calendula will help. The rash clears up on its own after a few days and is nothing to worry about.
