Diet against joint pain: what to give up

   Joint pain periodically visits many people. Often, its cause is a violation of the balance of substances in the body. However, with any joint pain, it is important to follow the right diet so that the ailment leaves the body. How should you make up your diet? What should be included in medical nutrition? What will you have to give up for the sake of recovery? Read more about this at estet-portal.com.

    In order for the treatment to bring the best effect, taking medications and playing sports should be accompanied by proper nutrition. Pursuing your lost health, you need to determine what was superfluous and unhealthy previously included in your daily diet. These products should be minimized as much as possible.

   Diet against pain: what should be abandoned?

   The joints are damaged by those products that contain a large amount of acids and oxidizing agents. These include dairy products and red meat. Proteins have the ability to oxidize in the blood, which in large portions becomes detrimental to the body.  So that due to the reduction of meat portions, the protein balance does not suffer, you can compensate for it by including nuts and legumes in the diet. It is recommended to increase the consumption of turkey and chicken. This meat contains collagen necessary for the joints, and is also more beneficial for the body.

   The benefits of milk are highly controversial. On the one hand, this product is valuable, on the other hand, it can be detrimental to health. For problems with joints, this product will have to be pushed out, since it contains a large amount of acids. You can replace the portions of calcium you get from dairy products with green vegetables and supplements.

   It is also worth minimizing the amount of junk food in your diet. You should refuse food that includes a large amount of preservatives, synthetic colors and flavors.

   Heavily spiced food, salty and sweet things will also have to be squeezed out.

   Food that relieves joint pain

   To make joint pain less acute and completely disappear, it is necessary to saturate the body with those components that can nourish and strengthen cartilage tissue. These include:

  • Collagen;
  • Calcium;
  • Magnesium;
  • Omega 3.

   All this is worth taking in nutritional supplements, as well as getting from the food you eat. Thus, a number of special foods should be included in the diet.

    Omega 3 is found in fish oil. It is worth eating salmon and sea mackerel dishes several times a week. These fish are especially rich in Omega 3.

   Calcium and magnesium can be obtained from pumpkin seeds, flax seeds and chia seeds. These minerals are also found in legumes, leafy greens and green vegetables.

   Collagen can be obtained not only from white meat, but also from gelatin. In addition, gelatin contains vitamin C, which is beneficial for the body.
