And usually all household chores for the week are done by people who work a full five-day week on weekends – when else?

How to make weekly household chores fun

Of course, the routine itself cannot be put anywhere – You still have to clean up and go grocery shopping. However, any routine can be made more enjoyable and less boring.
We have prepared for you a list of life hacks that will help you turn household chores into pleasure.

1.    Scheduling has proven itself not only in work.
Think that you need to plan only business meetings and meetings? And you try at least once in advance to sketch out a plan of household chores for Saturday or Sunday – where do you start, what are you going to do, how much time are you going to spend on each task, etc. And you will very quickly realize that time can be distributed more rationally, that it is better to do the most difficult or unpleasant things for you in the first place, and the easiest &ndash ; leave for last, etc. In general, planning is good in any business.

2.    Listen to cheerful music during routine activities.
Any life-affirming compositions that you like so much that they make you literally dance for joy – this is it!

We often see characters in movies doing their cleaning, dancing with a mop or a vacuum cleaner – try to catch the same perky mood, and your favorite music will help in this.

After all, when the mood is excellent and cheerful, then the work in the hands is faster.

3.    Make routine activities meditative.
Enter a special state that will "reset" your nervous system and improve your overall emotional state, auto-training will help. For example, while cleaning, slowly repeat various positive affirmations to yourself, such as “I am successful / successful,” “I am doing well.” and others. It is better, of course, out loud and with expression, but if you are not alone at home, then the household may not understand.

So you will not only subconsciously set yourself up for success, but will also form an elated mood, because mentally you will be transported by thoughts in those moments when you enjoyed life or achieved some kind of success.

4.    Educate yourself at the same time.
We are all used to complaining that cooking and cleaning – they are practically useless devourers of our precious time. However, you can combine business with pleasure (more precisely, useful with useful).
For example, while the soup is boiling on the stove and the washing machine is spinning the laundry, you may well watch training videos on your specialty or documentary educational programs. Or short but very capacious lectures TED Talks (and if you watch them with subtitles, you can also practice your English).

If the routine requires your close attention (for example, you can’t vacuum and watch a video at the same time or go shopping while looking at something), then there is also a way out – listening to audiobooks or podcasts on topics that interest you.

Then your friends will be surprised how you manage to do everything – keep the house in order, and constantly engage in your own education!

5.    Combine cleaning with gymnastics.
We don't only care about the mind, but also the body, don't we? We will sculpt it without departing from business!
For example, it is very easy to lunge, walking around the apartment with a vacuum cleaner, earning yourself strong legs and a beautiful ass. Or do the right body tilts forward (as with a deadlift – with a straight back and tight buttocks), while cleaning the bathroom. Or throw each leg in turn in a stretch on a table / chair / nightstand while you wash the dishes. Even when you go to the supermarket for groceries, try to load two packages equally with purchases so that the load is evenly distributed on both hands.
In general, there are a lot of opportunities – it all depends on your imagination!

6.    Learn proper breathing right in the process.
To learn conscious breathing, which relaxes, calms and relieves stress, you need the utmost concentration on your breathing. And when else to concentrate, if not during the routine?

Deep breaths through the nose and as slow exhalations through the mouth as possible after 5-6 repetitions of breathing cycles with full breasts will give a pleasant effect – You will feel relaxation and peace, even if before that problems did not give you rest.

If you are not lazy and consciously approach any process, including doing household chores for a week in advance, then they will be of great benefit – and calm down, and "reboot", and increase your erudition, and pump your body. Follow our advice!
