  • Limit the stressful event by time. Try to create clear time limits when quarreling with your husband, when discussing unpleasant moments with colleagues, or for other conflict situations. This means that there is no need to artificially inflate the excitement, "winding" themselves, remembering old grievances or failures. Take it as a rule: a showdown should only concern a specific conflict, without delving into the past or analyzing the opponent's personality.

  • Don't let stress affect the quality of your sleep.Sleeping with willpower will not succeed. But if you understand that you can sleep for a long time after any event — drink herbal tea with a calming effect, take a tincture of motherwort or valerian root, lie down for 10-15 minutes in a bath with pleasantly warm, relaxing water.

  • When tending to fixation on negative events, use "special" foot baths. Put small pebbles or coarse sea sand (these can be purchased at pet stores) on the bottom of the basin, pour water at a temperature that is pleasant for you and place your feet in the water so that it reaches the ankles.
