The essence of the rice diet
The whole "softness" of the rice diet is that it allows you to gradually lose weight without stressing the body. The duration of the diet ranges from 3 weeks to one and a half months, depending on the desires and the number of extra pounds. In addition to rice, this diet provides for the consumption of vegetables and a small amount of chicken meat. There are no special contraindications for this diet, but before starting it, it is better to consult a specialist.
Rice Diet Results
The results of the rice diet depend on many factors, such as:
- age;
- amount of overweight;
- time spent on the diet;
- lifestyle.
On average, a rice diet allows you to lose up to 8 kilograms per month. Most of the weight is lost during the first week, when the body removes excess fluid. During this period, you can lose up to 3-4 kilograms. Further weight loss is already directly dependent on the above factors.
Rice Diet Menu
The entire rice diet menu consists of three main items:
- boiled rice;
- boiled vegetables;
- boiled chicken meat (raw bell peppers can be used as a substitute).
Boiled rice should be included in every meal. From vegetables, preference should be given to green beans and cauliflower, they can be eaten in all meals. Other vegetables should be included no more than once a day.
In addition, the following rules must be followed:
- Once a day, it is allowed to add boiled chicken breast cut into small pieces or raw sweet pepper to rice with vegetables.
- Try to drink more pure water.
- In addition to water, you can drink green tea and dried fruit compote.
- Coffee, sugar and salt are completely banned.
- You can spice up food with dried herbs, but also without salt.
- In the third week, you can add a little soy sauce to your food.
- Eating is necessary 4 times a day.
