Today, there are few products and even more so goods that do not find the marking "made in China": perhaps on a jar of grandmother's pickled cucumbers or felt boots. And the lion's share of the products presented in the markets comes from China. Craftsmen from this country are able to make and copy anything. Moreover, they work very quickly, and the prices for goods, as a rule, are the lowest. But it is quite obvious that such savings still "pour out" consumer at an additional cost. In the case of food, its price – own health.

Attention: dangerous products from China

  1. Fish

China occupies a confident leading position in the top three countries – fish exporters, followed by Norway and Thailand. Moreover, the Celestial Empire – the only country where the number of artificially farmed fish exceeds the share of fish caught in natural waters.

Tilapia and cod are perhaps the most common fish species imported from this state. Eating such fish certainly does not add health to anyone, since considerable doses of growth hormone and the strongest antibiotics are used in its breeding.

Furthermore, fish are raised in sewage and live in their own waste.

  1. Garlic

According to independent studies of chemical laboratories, Chinese garlic contains an increased concentration of toxic compounds and heavy metals that are dangerous to our health. And this product is grown at all in the fields where DDT (otherwise dust) was actively used at one time – a harmful insecticidal agent, today strictly prohibited in many civilized states. In addition, garlic is soaked in a chlorine solution before being shipped to the buyer countries – thus, the appearance of the product is significantly improved and its shelf life is increased.

  1. Green peas

The well-known axiom that bright vegetables are as saturated as possible with useful substances is absolutely unfair in the case of Chinese-made green peas. The fact is that local farmers make this vegetable artificially, using a mixture of soybeans, green dye and preservative sodium pyrosulfite. The latter is a prohibited dietary supplement as it contributes to serious illnesses.

Fortunately, identifying peas from China is not difficult: if the water has acquired an unnatural green color while cooking a vegetable, you can throw the dangerous product in the trash without regret.

  1. Technical salt

In civilized countries, such salt is used for industrial purposes or sprinkled on roads in winter. In China, it is packaged and sold to other countries as a cookery. But industrial salt is not suitable for use in food. Prolonged use of it in food leads to serious health problems: both mental and physical, and is also fraught with disruption of the reproductive system.

  1. Black Pepper

Because it is not easy to check the quality of seasonings, Chinese manufacturers are taking advantage of this gap in food safety regulation with great success. In particular, they shamelessly add chalk to jars and packages with spices or collect dirt and pass it off as black pepper. Therefore, in countries with a low level of quality control, it is very likely to sell whatever they want.

To protect your food, be careful: do not purchase products thoughtlessly, do not forget to read the labels. But, since the latter is still not a panacea (in particular, the true data on the composition of the product may be hidden), try to check the quality of the products at home before cooking and, moreover, eating.
