Психология разных стран: как манера одеваться зависит от индекса счастья

Remember the well-known saying about how to distinguish a married girl from a lonely young lady? Like, the higher the heels, the larger the neckline and the brighter the makeup, the higher the likelihood that the girl is lonely, but the sloppy ponytail, worn-out ballet flats and the lack of decorative cosmetics – signs of a lady in a serious relationship, since she has nothing to be ashamed of.
We usually laugh at such jokes in social networks, but quite unexpectedly, world sociologists indirectly confirmed the correctness of these signs. That's really true: in every joke there is a share of a joke, and everything else – true.

Do you want to know how the usual myth was confirmed in the world? Read about it in the article estet-portal.com.

How are the manner of dressing and the index of happiness related to each other  - experience of different countries

Scientists came to the conclusion, perhaps unexpected for the CIS countries, but quite expected for the countries of Western Europe, after the traditional annual UN report on the level of happiness in the world.

Yes, yes, this will probably surprise many, but even employees of such a serious international organization, like British scientists, are engaged in such "childhood" as researching world happiness. And they are engaged, by the way, for the seventh year in a row!

The essence of the research is as follows. Pundits have developed techniques to measure the level of objective well-being of residents of different countries. They also learn the personal subjective assessment of residents about their standard of living. The results obtained are compared, and on their basis the traditional annual ranking of the UN among countries by the level of happiness of their inhabitants is compiled.

Ready to see the top 10 happiest countries in the world last year according to the UN?

These are Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Switzerland, Finland, the Netherlands, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and Sweden – it is here that those who have comprehended the zen of happiness live.

By the way, the same countries were in the top ten a year earlier, except that their places in the internal ranking slightly changed among themselves.

These states are united by several factors at once: a high standard of living of the population, high social standards, economic stability and social security of the population. But from the point of view of fashion bloggers, the leading countries are not at all interesting. After all, their inhabitants do not care how they are dressed! It may sound rude, but it's true – the local population has little interest in haute couture, and local women certainly will not go for bread in full dress.

The happier people are and the higher their standard of living – the simpler they are dressed! It is to this paradoxical conclusion that scientists have come.

Apparently, people who "comprehended Zen" happy life, they no longer see the point in exchanging for material trifles – such as the tenth pair of jeans, the twentieth dress, or the twelfth pair of shoes with different heels.
By the way, most of the world's self-made millionaires/billionaires serve as proof of this theory.

Remember the late Steve Jobs, who wore the same "uniform" every day; - light jeans, sneakers and a black golf turtleneck. Jobs believed that his time should be spent on more valuable things than matching a tie to a jacket every morning, and people should see him (in every sense), and not what he is wearing. The same path is followed by Mark Zuckerberg, who appears everywhere in similar simple T-shirts and jeans, the richest man in the world, Bill Gates, who buys ordinary trousers for himself at sales, and many others. But back to the countries and the UN rating.

Attentive readers will remember that there are other seemingly well-fed and prosperous Western countries, whose inhabitants are the creators and leaders of the global fashion industry, and even models for fashion bloggers. So: Italy got to the 50th place of the lucky rating (a total of 157 countries were studied), Spain found itself in the 37th place, and France (the birthplace of most of the world famous couturiers) thundered to the 32nd place. That is far from ideal.

And although Norwegians do not know how many centimeters to roll up jeans according to fashion – but happy. In Holland, couples wear identical sweatshirts and boots – and also happy. Perhaps our men, accustomed to the "full parade" our women, it seems that the Swedes do not look like ladies. But they are happy! And with personal life, by the way, everything is in order too.

Catch the point? Their women do not torment themselves with tight stilettos and tight skirts, getting up an hour earlier in the morning for a full make-up and thorough styling. They are so good. And their men feel good about what is good for their beautiful halves. Not confused – means balanced and happy.
When a person feels in harmony with the world around him, he does not need to constantly prove something to others with frilly clothes (unless, of course, this person earns by fashion blogging). After all, in order to to fully enjoy life, you need, first of all, comfortable, not designer clothes.

And the status of a person in the modern world – this is no longer external show-off. These are his achievements and his intellect.

Of course, we do not urge readers to burn half of the wardrobe and give up on the appearance altogether. Still, a person should look neat and inspire confidence. However, it will be useful to remember the meaning of this article every time it seems to you that life has failed just because you did not buy your fifth lipstick or did not have time for the brand's sale.
