It is absolutely inappropriate to ask (even if a question follows a compliment) the cost of an outfit or personal item.

With a friendly smile, you can answer that this is a present and, under a convenient pretext, transfer the topic to a different plane. If your counterpart insists on a more specific answer, say gently that you would not like to discuss it.

  1. It is not acceptable to discuss those who are currently absent.

It is not permissible to speak badly about loved ones, for example, as it usually happens: wives (husbands) are discussed. But if the spouse is so bad, you should probably get a divorce. About the country in which they live, people also often respond disrespectfully. And here it’s worth considering, because they are also part of it, and if “they are alone (substitute the necessary)”, then such persons themselves belong to such a personal category.

You can not refuse to try the treat of a hospitable hostess, referring to the diet. It is imperative to praise the dishes prepared by her, while eating is not at all necessary. According to the same "scenario" also apply to alcoholic beverages. It is not necessary to notify everyone about the reasons for which you cannot drink. In your situation, the right solution would be to sip a little dry white wine.

  2. International Protocol provides a common standard for the number of pieces of jewelery worn at any one time. It can be 13 items (they also include jewelry buttons).

It is not allowed to wear rings over gloves, but a bracelet is allowed. Not so long ago, decorating yourself with diamonds was considered the privilege of married ladies, and was appropriate for the evening. But today it is allowed to wear such jewelry during the day.

  1. A man never carries a handbag. And he takes a coat from a woman only to take it to the wardrobe.
