The founder of scientific gerontology, Ilya Mechnikov, believed that the process of withering begins from the moment when, due to inadequate digestion of food, the body ceases to have time to remove rapidly accumulating harmful elements. This happens imperceptibly: every day the body accumulates fats, and with them — and harmful substances, which leads first to the appearance of excess weight, and then — to premature aging. To prevent this from happening, you should do a fasting day every week, which will cleanse the body and resist aging.

Unloading day: strictly according to the calendar

Unloading day — a good wellness event aimed at cleansing the body. It should be planned in advance, and done at the same time, once or twice a week.

It is desirable to combine it with a visit to the sauna, bath, massage. This will open the way for the elimination of toxins. For the same purpose, it is good to finish the fasting day with bowel cleansing. To do this, you can put an enema or drink tea that enhances intestinal motility.
Before going to bed, it is good to do a massage of the internal organs. Combined with diaphragmatic breathing, this will help you fall asleep quickly and sleep soundly.

Fasting days required:

  • for diseases of the bone and cardiovascular systems;
  • renal failure;
  • tendency to constipation.

Sometimes on such days a person experiences weakness and even malaise. This is due to the fact that against the background of the consumption of foods with a low glycemic index, blood sugar levels fall.

  • To improve your well-being, you should drink hot tea with honey or crackers.
  • Suck honey in your mouth (1 tsp).

Contraindications for fasting days:

  • pregnancy, lactation;
  • exacerbation of liver and kidney diseases;
  • type I diabetes;
  • heavy physical activity;
  • Increased emotional excitability.

Fasting day: 6 principles of nutrition

Principle #1: Low calorie daily diet — 700−800 kcal.

Principle No. 2. No fats or products containing them (cottage cheese, sour cream, nuts).

Mandatory consumption of 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil as medicine.

Principle #3: Mononutrition, i.e. eating one type of low-fat food throughout the day.

Principle #4: Eliminate salt from your diet. This contributes to the removal of excess fluid from the body.

Principle #5: Pure natural water at room temperature as a liquid. Other drinks (herbal decoctions, tea, coffee, compotes) are prohibited. Drink water per day at the rate of 30 g of water per 1 kg of body weight.

Principle #6: Small meals, five to six times a day. Busy constantly digesting food, the body will not suffer from hunger.
