What is the biological activity of plant cells

Meristimal cells contain some substances that are found in the human body: these are enzymes with an antioxidant effect, elements for ensuring cell respiration.

In addition, proteins have been found in plants that affect the growth and division of cells in the human body.
Unlike human stem cells, all meristimal cells are totipotent, that is, they can turn into any cell that the body needs. And when damaged, plant cells can lose differentiation and become unspecialized again.
