Desincrustation allows you to effectively and deeply clean the skin pores from dirt and fat. The effect on the skin is produced by a combination of electrical impulses and an alkaline liquid applied to the skin. This type of galvanic facial cleansing can be a preliminary step before mechanical cleaning, if necessary, or it can be an excellent alternative for patients with high pain sensitivity. Desincrustation affects the skin very gently and does not cause discomfort. Read about the features of the procedure at Estet-portal.com.
What is the essence of the deincrustation procedure and the cleansing effect?
During deincrustation, an alkaline solution is applied to the skin, and on top of it, constant electrical impulses are applied through the active electrode to the skin. Under the influence of current, the contents of the skin pores are melted and brought to the surface. Here, sebum reacts with an alkaline solution and forms a compound that is easily removed from the skin with a cotton swab. The opening of the pores is easy and painless, and their cleansing is effective.
If a therapeutic or nourishing agent is first applied to the skin, then under the action of electrical impulses it is deeply absorbed into the skin. Desincrustation of the skin, in addition to the cleansing effect, tones the blood vessels, enhances the metabolism in the skin cells and has a tightening effect on the skin.
Who is recommended for skin cleansing by dezincrustation
The following conditions may be indications for skin cleansing using the deincrustation method:
- open comedones;
- oily and combination skin;
- some types of pigmentation and post-acne;
- small mimic wrinkles and flabbiness of the skin.
Skin deincrustation can be carried out no more than one procedure every 20-30 days, since intense exposure to electrical impulses on the sebaceous and sweat glands can cause either excessive dryness of the skin or excessively intense sebum secretion.
Contraindications for disincrustation and expected effect
Like any other procedure associated with exposure of the skin to electrical impulses, disincrustation is contraindicated in any oncological diseases, as well as in the presence of pregnancy and in the case of a pacemaker installed in the patient. The skin is not cleaned by the deincrustation method if the patient has molluscum contagiosum, vitiligo and some other dermatological diseases. Such cleaning of the skin is not done with inflamed acne, neurotic excoriations, very deep age wrinkles. Desincrustation should be used with caution if the patient has very dry skin with hypersensitivity.
In addition to cleansing the skin, the deincrustation procedure slows down the thickening of the stratum corneum, reduces the intensity of sebum secretion, renews the upper layers of the skin and has a lifting effect. The procedure is easily tolerated by the patient and does not require rehabilitation measures.
